Adam Pearce has addressed whether WWE fans could ever see him step back into the ring, and the Monday Night Raw General Manager isn’t exactly rushing to pull his boots out of storage.

During an interview with Love Wrestling, Pearce was asked about a possible in-ring return after the conversation turned to SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis getting back into action. Pearce made it clear that wrestling again is nowhere near the top of his priority list.

“Less than zero interest in putting on my size 13 Stagecoach boots. I am 48 years old and have no desire to put spandex on.”

Pearce then joked about exactly why he believes fans don’t need to see him back in tights at this stage of his life. Despite shutting the idea down pretty hard, Pearce still stopped short of completely ruling out another match.

“You at home do not need to see a 48-year-old, bald Caucasian Adam Pearce wearing tights in 2026 or beyond. This is something that will detach retinas.”

“So we’re gonna say no. But we will not ever say never.”

Pearce has wrestled for WWE before. Back in 2021, he competed in two matches for the company, although his role in recent years has centered around serving as an authority figure on Monday Night Raw.

For now, Pearce clearly has little interest in making another WWE in-ring return, but his refusal to say “never” leaves at least a tiny crack in the door if the right situation ever comes along.
