Adam Copeland has wrestled inside some of the most famous arenas on the planet, but Wembley Stadium was still missing from his list. That changes on August 30, when he teams with Christian Cage to defend the AEW Tag Team Championships against The Young Bucks at AEW All In 2026.
Copeland took to Instagram on August 29 and showed himself physically checking Wembley off a handwritten list of iconic wrestling venues. Arena México was already crossed off, while Maple Leaf Gardens and the Tokyo Dome were also visible on the page.
This isn’t just another building for Copeland. It will be his first AEW All In, and he’s walking into Wembley with championship gold around his waist and one hell of a fight waiting for him.
“Tomorrow, another iconic venue gets checked off my list. Wembley Stadium. My first AEW All In.”
Copeland also gave The Young Bucks their flowers before the bell rings. He called them a team he deeply respects and admitted this is a match he once believed would never happen.
“Against a team I have a massive amount of respect for. A team in The Young Bucks that we thought we’d never face.”
There’s some nasty history behind that line. The Bucks once told Christian Cage that it was time to retire, seemingly killing any chance of this showdown ever becoming a reality. Now Christian is still standing, Copeland is beside him, and the titles are on the line.
“That ship had sailed when they told Christian he had to retire. Yet somehow, some way, here we are.”
Copeland isn’t heading into Wembley quietly either. He wants London at full volume while the four veterans tear into each other.
“I hope you come to have fun tomorrow. I know I will be. Soaking in every moment. Bring your voices, London. Let’s tear the whole roof off.”
Copeland can finally put a check next to Wembley Stadium, but simply showing up won’t be enough. He and Christian now have to survive The Young Bucks if they want to leave London with their AEW Tag Team Championships.
