Ruby Soho has been gone from an AEW ring for nearly three years. Turns out, she’s already cleared to come back.

According to Fightful Select, Soho was medically cleared by AEW back in June for an eventual in-ring return. She was at the company’s television tapings in Cincinnati that month after working toward getting the green light from AEW’s medical team.

Now comes the interesting part. AEW apparently doesn’t have anything concrete lined up for her yet. Soho hasn’t been a regular backstage at shows, but ideas for her return have been floating around within AEW for several months. Nothing has actually been locked in, so being cleared doesn’t necessarily mean she’s about to pop up on television next week.

Still, it’s a pretty big change from where things stood before. Soho hasn’t wrestled since February 2024, when she teamed with Saraya against Kris Statlander and Willow Nightingale on AEW Rampage. She later stepped away from wrestling during her pregnancy and welcomed her first child with Angelo Parker.

By July 2025, there were already signs she was working toward getting back in the ring, with reports that Soho had resumed training. Nearly a year later, she was in Cincinnati and ultimately got the clearance she had been working toward.

So at this point, the medical side apparently isn’t holding Ruby Soho back anymore. She’s cleared, AEW has kicked around ideas for her, and now it’s basically a matter of whether the company decides to actually use one of them.

Parker’s situation is considerably less clear. He hasn’t appeared for AEW since April 2025 and has wrestled only four matches since the birth of their daughter, although he remains listed on the company’s roster page.

For Soho, though, the door is officially open again. After almost three years without a match, she can wrestle — AEW just needs to figure out what comes next.

Who should Ruby Soho work with if AEW finally brings her back? Let us know in the comments.
