AAA’s biggest show of the year just got even bigger. After revealing that TripleManía 34 would kick off from the Luxor Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, the promotion has already been forced to change plans. The original venue sold out so quickly that AAA is moving the event to the much larger MGM Grand Garden Arena, giving its historic U.S. show an even bigger stage.
AAA broke the news on Thursday with a video featuring WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio, confirming that overwhelming ticket demand left the company with only one option.
“IT’S OFFICIAL! Triplemanía 34 just got BIGGER. 🔥 Due to the huge demand, the biggest night in professional wrestling is moving to the iconic MGM Grand Garden Arena this Friday, September 11.”
The promotion also confirmed that while the venue has changed, everything else stays the same. TripleManía 34 will still take place on Friday, September 11, with the same advertised start time. Fans who already planned their trip won’t need to change their schedules—just the building they’re heading to.
AAA also used the announcement to remind fans just how loaded the event is expected to be, advertising names including Rey Mysterio, Dominik Mysterio, Hijo del Vikingo, Psycho Clown, La Catalina and Rey Fénix, with more talent still expected to be announced.
The Las Vegas event will remain the opening night of the first-ever two-night, two-country edition of TripleManía. After the MGM Grand show wraps up, AAA will head back to Mexico for Night Two on September 13 at Arena CDMX, where the company’s biggest weekend of the year will conclude.
Selling out one Las Vegas venue is impressive. Upgrading to one of the city’s most famous arenas before the first bell even rings sends an even louder message about the demand surrounding AAA’s biggest event of 2026.
