Tonight’s RAW will be the final such show before the Money In The Bank PPV on Sunday, and marks the final show of the pandemic era. Where most weeks we have no idea what’s coming-up on RAW, tonight we have a full lowdown! As such, Bobby Lashley is going one-on-one with Xavier Woods once again tonight and Kofi Kingston will no doubt be on hand. We’re also getting Nikki Cross Vs. Alexa Bliss Vs. Asuka Vs. Naomi in a Fatal 4-Way match, and John Morrison vs. Ricochet in a Falls Count Anywhere match.

As the budding feud between the Viking Raiders and the RAW Tag Team Champion’s heats up, tonigh AJ Styles takes on Ivar, while Omos faces Erik in two separate singles matches. And for the first time since he won the belt, United States Champion Sheamus will defend it against the man who broke his nose a month ago: Humberto Carrillo. RAW

This week’s RAW opens with an in memoriam graphic for wrestling legend, “Mr Wonderful” Paul Orndorff, who sadly passed away today.

We take a look back at last week when Bobby Lashley and MVP were defeated by New Day in a tag team match. We go live to the Thunderdome for the final time and out comes New Day.

Xavier Woods W/Kofi Kingston Vs. Bobby Lashley W/MVP

Lashley takes control early on, hitting Woods with takedowns and overpowering him. Woods slides under the legs and grabs a headlock, then counters the big man and hits a big senton to the back. Woods grabs a front facelock and knees Lashley but gets picked up and military pressed over the ropes to the floor! Lashley goes out and stares Kofi down before military pressing Woods onto the steel steps!

*Commercial Break*

Lashley is beating Woods in the corner as we return. Lashley hits a running shoulder tackle but Woods avoids a follow-up and hits a superkick. Xavier lands a tilt-a-whirl tornado DDT and both men are down. Lashley rolls out and Woods hits a tope to him, then rolls him back inside. Woods goes up top for a missile dropkick and a two-count, then transitions to a crossface.

Lashley escapes and lands a huge spinebuster. MVP gives him some advice and the All Mighty hits a rollout dominator. Woods gets thrown from the ring and Lashley goes out to run him into the ring post. Back inside, Lashley connects with a spear but doesn’t go for the cover. Lashley slowly lifts Woods up but Xavier catches him with an inside cradle for the shock win!

Winner: Xavier Woods

After the break, Eva Marie and Doudrop will be on Alexa’s Playground.

*Commercial Break*

MVP is walking backstage and stopped for an interview. Lashley has left the building and MVP says it’s no big deal, the Champ just needed to blow off some steam. MVP guarantees Lashley will be at Money In The Bank on Sunday and he will retain the WWE Championship.

Last week Jinder Mahal, Veer and Shanky attacked Drew McIntyre and stole his Scottish sword. Earlier today Mahal arrived at the arena in his custom motorbike and Veer and Shanky present him with the sword.

Alexa Bliss is on her swingset and she talks about how excited she is about being back live in front of fans on Sunday. Eva Marie and Doudrop interrupt her and Eva asks to be introduced. Bliss says Doudrop repeatedly and laughs, then asks her to describe her time on RAW but Marie interrupts her and describes it as “Evalutionary”. She takes credit for Doudrop’s wins and Bliss says she didn’t ask her. Bliss calls her a “bonus” and Marie is offended; she calls herself the star of Monday Night RAW and insults the Playground before leaving.

*Commercial Break*

Jinder Mahal, Veer and Shanky are in the ring with a pedestal draped in cloth. Jinder says he may have taken things too far last week. He knows how much Drew appreciates his Scottish heritage so he’s going to be the bigger man and extend an olive branch. He asks Drew to come out, shake hands, and he’ll hand the sword back.

McIntyre appears on the big screen backstage and he tells Jinder to get to the point. Mahal says he’s offended he doesn’t trust him, they’ve been through so much. Mahal says he had Veer and Shanky take the sword and get it refurbished. The pull the cloth off and the sword is broken in half. McIntyre says he knew that would happen… but that’s not the real sword. Drew pulls the real one out and he walks over to Jinder’s custom motorbike. McIntyre pulls part of the exhaust off and beats the bike, then rips the seat off and the fuel tank. Drew tells Jinder not to worry, it’s nothing some elbow grease won’t fix.

Nikki ASH is backstage and Riddle appears beside her. He tells her to fly to the Money In The Bank briefcase and win the match. She reminds him she’s not a real superhero and can’t fly. Riddle interrupts her and tells an incoherent story and ASH runs off for her match.

Fatal 4-Way

Nikki A.S.H Vs. Alexa Bliss Vs. Naomi Vs. Asuka

The match gets undeway and Naomi runs across the ring and dropkicks both Nikki and Asuka. Naomi and Bliss trade and Alexa hits a unique springboard crossbody. Nikki and Asuka return and the women trade pinfall attempts. Naomi and Asuka kick Nikki out of the ring. Asuka and Naomi go back-and-forth until they hit stereo kicks and both go down.

Bliss and ASH meet in the ring and stare up at the briefcases. Nikki poses and Bliss makes to touch her but Nikki shoves her hand away. Bliss looks for Sister Abigail but Nikki dropkicks her, then out comes Eva Marie and Doudrop. Asuka comes back in with a flurry of offence but Bliss catches her with a spike DDT for a two-count.

Bliss waves at Eva and Doudrop, then leaves the ring and ghosts Doudrop to get to Eva, who threatens to throw her shoot at her. Alexa screams and Doudrop attacks her, then dumps her over the barricade. Eva comes over to see the handiwork but Bliss has disappeared.

*Commercial Break*

Asuka is kicking Naomi and ASH as we return. Naomi fights back but gets caught with a German suplex. Asuka with a hip attack, then a kick to Nikki and a bulldog to Naomi. Asuka gets caught with a kick from Naomi, who then drops Nikki and hits Asuka with a back suplex beside ASH. Naomi hits a split leg dro to both, then catches Asuka with a springboard kick for a near-fall.

Nikki goes to the middle rope and hits a tornado DDT to Naomi but Asuka breaks the pin. All three women get back to their feet and Asuka is sent from the ring. Nikki hits a tilt-a-whirl to Naomi but gets countered into a pin for two. Naomi goes to a unique submission but Asuka kicks Naomi to break it. Asuka applies an armbar to Naomi but she fights it until Nikki hits a seated senton to Asuka. Nikki goes up top and hits a crossbody to Asuka but Naomi breaks it.

Naomi is sent to the apron but she kicks Nikki back. Asuka hits Naomi with a Codebreaker through the ropes but Nikki rolls Asuka up for two. Nikki is sent to the ropes but counters Asuka and rolls her up again for two. The Empress gets the Asuka Lock in but Nikki fights free and hits a roll-up for the win!

Winner: Nikki A.s.h

The Viking Raiders are interviewed backstage. Ivar defends vikings against AJ Styles’s comments that they’re smelly, dumb brutes. Erik says he has the tall task of facing Omos but this is his first singles match and he will find a crack in the armour. Then they will once again win the RAW Tag Team Titles.

*Commercial Break*

AJ Styles and Omos are in the ring. Styles says he needs to get something off his chest. He said some stuff about vikings that Erik and Ivar found offensive, so he needs to rephrase it. He calls them more names and says they’ve been sticking their noses in his business. So tonight, he’s going to break Ivar’s leg in the Calf Crusher, and Omos will destroy Erik and prove why the’re the Champs.

AJ Styles W/Omos Vs. Ivar W/Erik

The mach gets underway and AJ uses his speed to land some strikes but Ivar uses his own athleticism to counter him. Ivar beats AJ into the corner and hits a bronco buster for a one-count. AJ counters a body slam but runs into a big shoulder. Styles beats Ivar in the corner and targets the leg before hitting a DDT for a two-count.

AJ applies a sleeper but Omos wriggles free and hits a back body drop. Ivar with a sidewalk slam and a crossbody. Ivar cartwheels past AJ and clotheslines him for a two-count. AJ moves to the apron and hits a sunset flip and a Pele kick. Styles runs at Ivar but gets caught with a seated senton and Ivar wins!

Winner: Ivar

*Commercial Break*

Omos W/AJ Styles Vs. Erik W/Ivar

Erik tries to take Omos down but he doesn’t budge. Omos throws him off and tells him to bring it. Erik dodges some punches and kicks the big man, then forearms him a few times. Omos hits a shoulder tackle and Erik is thrown across the ring. Omos wants a powerslam but Erik slides off and kicks the back of his leg. Erik jumps at him but gets caught in a bearhug.

Erik uses his elbow to break free but gets thrown across the ring. Erik avoids a splash and unloads a flurry of strikes and nearly gets Omos off his feet, but eats a big lariat. Omos screams and AJ tells him to end it. Omos hits a two-handed chokeslam for the win.

Winner: Omos

Sheamus is backstage with Pearce and Deville. He says they have forced him to defend his title with no regard for his wellbeing. Deville laughs at him wearing a mask and he shous at her. Sheamus says that, regardless, he’s here to defend his title. The Irishman walks off smiling.

*Commercial Break*

New Day are approached by Lucha House Party backstage. Woods congratulates them on their win last week and asks about a SummerSlam party. New Day are interviewed and Kofi gloats about Woods beating Lashley. Sarah tells them that Lashley has returned to the arena and Kofi laughs, saying of course he has because he wants his champagne and ladies. Kofi says being Champion isn’t about that stuff, it’s about being on your best grind. And those days are coming back real soon.

We see a long video package that highlights the Money In The Bank PPV and lots of previous winners.

Sheamus is attacking Humberto Carrillo backstage. Sheamus fends off some officias and tosses Carrillo into a ladder and some pipes. Sheamus tells him to stop sleeping on the job and walks off, passing an angry Damian Priest on the way.

*Commercial Break*

Pearce and Deville are with Carrillo backstage and they’re trying to convince him not to compete. He says he’s waited too long. So long as he can stand he will fight.

United States Championship

(C) Sheamus Vs. Humberto Carrillo

The match gets underway and Carrillo can barely stand. Sheamus hits a Brogue Kick and that’s all she wrote.

Winner: Sheamus

After the match Sheamus makes to leave but comes back to batter Humberto some more. Sheamus rips his cheeks and stands on his hair until Damian Priest comes running down and runs him off.

We see highlights from recent weeks where Ricochet and John Morrison have been killing each other. Ricochet is walking backstage and Riddle rides up beside him. They talk about how excited they are for Sunday. Riddle thinks Ricochet is talking about his Sunday routine of eating a spaghetti burrito and watching his favourite western: Toy Story 2. Riddle says, like Woody, he’s got a snake in his boot (Randy Orton). Miz and Morrison appear and John shouts “surprise splash-holes” and they spray Riddle and Ricochet with drip-sticks. Riddle swears to beat them.

*Commercial Break*

Falls Count Anywhere

John Morrison W/The Miz Vs. Ricochet W/Riddle

The match begins with fast-paced counters and Ricochet gets tossed to the apron and kicked. Morrison goes out and hits him with a gnarly neckbreaker to the floor for a two-count. Morrison beats Ricochet around ringside while Miz talks trash. Morrison hits a knee against the barricade, then a kick for a two-count. John gets him back inside and wants Starship Pain but Ricochet jumps up and grabs him for a German suplex.

Morrison rolls to the apron and knocks Ricochet to the floor before hitting a ridiculous sideways spinning kick off the apron. Morrison tosses Ricochet over the barricade and goes after him. Ricochet runs Morrison into the screens and sends him back over the barricade. Morrison and Ricochet get on the barricade but before thyey can do anything Morrison falls and lands hard on his leg. Ricochet quickly follows-up with a 450 splash for a near-fall.

Ricochet gets him back in the ring and goes gor a springboard but Morrison rolls out of the ring. Morrison stands behind the ring post to avoid a dive but Ricochet jumps onto the ring post and hits a shooting star press off and onto Morrison on the floor.

*Commercial Break*

We’re back and there’s a ladder bridged from the apron to the announce desk. Ricochet dives off the apron with a crossbody to Morrison, then gets him back inside. Morrison crawls right back out the other side and Ricochet looks for a dive but Miz rolls in the way. Ricochet dives over Miz and lands on Morrison anyway for a two-count.

They brawl up the ramp to the stage. Ricochet counters a powerslam and a suplex but Ricochet hits a hurricanrana for a two-count. Morrison kicks Ricochet and heads backstage. As soon as Ricochet comes through the curtain, Morrison superkicks him. Morrison sets a chair up and puts Ricochet on it for a running knee and another near-fall.

They come back into the ThunderdDome and Morrison wastes time talking to Miz, so Ricochet knocks him down the ramp. Ricochet grabs the wheelchair and runs Miz down the ramp but stops to attack Morrison. Ricochet puts Morrison back inside and kicks him from the apron. Ricochet wants a dive but Miz sprays him with the drip-stick. Morrison snatches Ricochet for a spinning neckbreaker and a near-fall.

Morrison drags Ricochet to the corner and out comes Riddle on the scooter. He bends the wheelchair backwards so Miz is on his back. Morrison is distracted and springboards his way into aa recoil from Ricochet. Morrison rolls to the apron above the ladder between it and the announce table, and Ricochet kicks him onto it. Ricochet climbs the ropes and hits a splash to drive Morrison through the ladder. Ricochet crawls to make the pin.

Winner; Ricochet

Natalya and Tamina are interviewed backstage and she says she wakes up every day hoping to be better. She has a full-proof plan to become the first-ever RAW, SmackDown, and Women’s Tag Team Champion. Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke are laughing nearby and Rose says a full-proof plan can’t come from a fool. Dana says Natalya won’t get [ast Rhea Ripley tonight. Tamina ends-up shoving Dana and they walk off as Rose holds Brooke back.

*Commercial Break*

Drew McIntyre is interviewed backstage and he says he has bigger things to think about than Jinder Mahal. Drew tells a story and likens himself to Icarus but says even the sun won’t be able to stop him from becoming Mr. Money In The Bank.

The announcers run down the card for Money In The Bank.

Rhea Ripley is interviewed backstage and she says Natalya challenged her and she’s not someone to back down from a challenge. As for Charlotte, she’s exposed her as a crybaby and on Sunday she ends the feud.

*Commercial Break*

Rhea Ripley Vs. Natalya W/Tamina

Ripley and Natalya battle for control with lots of holds and reversals. Ripley eventually hits Nattie with a headbutt that drops her. Rhea wants the Riptide early but Natalya counters and wants the Sharpshooter but gets kicked from the ring. Ripley goes outside and runs for a dropkick but accidentally hits Tamina. Natalya hits a discus clothesline to the Champ on the floor.

Commercial Break*

They’re abttling on the top rope and Ripley knocks Natie off before connecting with a missile dropkick. Ripley misses a splash in the corner but drops Natalya for a two-count. Ripley knees Natalya and hits a Northern lights suplex for a near-fall. Natalya catches Rhea with a sit-out powerbmb for a two-count. Natalya hits an atomic drop and runs over her back but Ripley avoids the dropkick.

Ripley lifts Natalya and applies the Prism Trap but Nattie counters by rolling her up for two. Natalya applies the Sharpshooter but Ripley kicks her off and into the buckles. Rhea hits a unique up-kick to Natalya before landing the Riptide for the win.

Winner: Rhea Ripley

After the match, Rhea is caught with a chop block by Charlotte Flair! The Queen throws her jacket at Ripley and takes her down to apply the Figure Four. Charlotte drags herself under the bottom rope and hangs by the apron with the Figure Four applied as Rhea screams. Charlotte releases and smiles at Ripley, who looks furious.

MVP is backstage and he tells the ladies that Lashley is coming for the V.I.P Lounge and he’s had a rough night, so they need to do whatever they can to make him feel better.

*Commercial Break*

MVP and the ladies are in the ring. He welcomes us to the V.I.P Lounge and says it’s going to be a very special edition. He says the ThunderDome era is ending and he’s going to remember it as the LashleyDome. So, without further ado, MVP asks Lashley to join them in the ring. Lashley doesn’t appear right away and when he does he looks dishevelled.

MVP asks where he’s been. Lashley snatches the microphone and tells the ladies to leave. Lashley says he’s been thinking about what Kofi said about MVP making him lose his edge and get soft, he was right. Lashley says he lost to Xavier Woods when he should be stacking him and Kofi’s bodies up. He’s furious and MVP is trying to cheer him up with champagne and women. He appreciates everything MVP has done for him but this bull$hit has to end right now.

Lashley says he wants to destroy everyone who steps to him and he starts wrecking the V.I.P Lounge. Lashley says he’s going to do what he should have already, tear him in half. He hopes Kofi brings his family, his friends, and the whole WWE Universe beause he’s going to dismantle him. Kofi had best come ready to fight for his life because he’s going to cave his skull in and send him packing with the rest of the clowns. On Sunday, he ends Kofi’s career.
