Ric Flair is letting the world know he’s not going down without a fight.
Just days after confirming his second battle with skin cancer, the 16-time world champion posted a new photo on social media with a short but powerful message. On June 14, 2025, Flair shared a selfie on X/Twitter showing visible bandages on his forehead and scalp, captioned: “On The Mend! 💪”
This comes after a whirlwind week where Flair first denied having cancer in a public tweet, only to later confirm to PEOPLE magazine that he is indeed undergoing treatment.
“It’s the second time in three years that I’ve been dealing with skin cancer,” Flair revealed. “I will be undergoing treatment next week.”
Flair’s initial attempt to downplay his condition sparked backlash online, especially after photos surfaced showing facial marks. Fans expressed concern, and his podcast partner and son-in-law Conrad Thompson addressed the speculation with a blunt response: “He had a skin cancer removed but go on.” Still, Flair tried to silence the rumors by posting:
“I’m Sorry People Have Been Misled By Social Media, But I Don’t Have Cancer Of Any Kind. Thank You For Your Concerns And For Everyone Reaching Out. I Am Absolutely Fine, And Unfortunately, You’ll Have To Live And Put Up With Me For Another 25 Years!”
That statement didn’t hold up for long. Now with his latest post—complete with battle wounds and a determined look—Flair is letting fans in on the reality of his fight. For someone who’s survived near-fatal organ failure and a medically induced coma, this is just another mountain to chop down.
