Shotzi has been moved to the alumni section of WWE.com, sparking speculation about her future with the company—but WWE has yet to make any official announcement regarding her release.

The timing of the update is raising eyebrows. Shotzi’s shift to the alumni list comes right after WWE’s May 2, 2025 wave of roster cuts that saw stars like Gigi Dolin, Shayna Baszler, and Braun Strowman let go. While her name wasn’t among those publicly confirmed, the website change has fans wondering whether Shotzi’s WWE run has quietly ended too.

Shotzi hasn’t appeared in televised action since the February 19 episode of WWE Speed. Before that, she wrestled on the January 28 edition of NXT. She did make a brief appearance at NXT Stand & Deliver, walking to the ring alongside Gigi Dolin and Tatum Paxley. Interestingly, both Paxley and Dolin were released last week.

Shotzi first signed with WWE in 2019 after impressing fans on the independent scene and in EVOLVE. Her unique look, chaotic energy, and entrance in a mini-tank made her an instant fan favorite. She held the NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles alongside Ember Moon and also appeared in WarGames matches and Royal Rumbles.

Most recently, she posted a cryptic promo on social media, teasing a possible persona shift and saying she was “ready for what’s next”—a message that now feels even more significant given her removal from the active roster page.

Whether Shotzi has officially been released or is simply taking a break remains to be seen. WWE has not confirmed her status, but the signs point to a major shift.
