The Countdown To WWE WrestleMania 41 Saturday Pre-Show opens up with Michael Cole welcoming us. He then introduces Pat McAfee, Big E and Wade Barrett as his co-panel members. The panel then runs through the card for tonight’s show and mention that Rey Mysterio’s match against El Grande Americano is in the air due to Rey’s injury last night on SmackDown.

The panel then talks about the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match between WWE World Heavyweight Champion “The Ring General” GUNTHER and “Main Event” Jey Uso.

Joe Tessitore and Sam Roberts then check in from the backstage area inside the stadium and talk about the LA Knight vs. Jacob Fatu Match for the U.S. Championship.

Jackie Redmond then checks in from outside the stadium and she runs through some statistics.

Byron Saxton and Cathy Kelley are in the back and they talk about the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match between WWE World Heavyweight Champion “The Ring General” GUNTHER and “Main Event” Jey Uso.

We then get a video package look at the Triple Threat Match between CM Punk, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. Jackie Redmond and Peter Rosenberg then talk about the Triple Threat Match.

We then get a video package looking at betrayals in pro wrestling.

We then get a video packing looking at the Jade Cargill vs. Naomi Match. Cathy Kelley and Sam Roberts then talk about the Jade Cargill vs. Naomi Match.

We then get a video package looking at the Rey Mysterio vs. El Grande Americano Match. There was no mention of the injury that Rey Mysterio suffered on SmackDown.

Paul “Triple H” Levesque is then interviewed by Peter Rosenberg. Triple H is asked what is his most memorable accomplishment in the ring. Triple H says helping Randy and Dave get to the top with Ric Flair. Triple H then says his street fight with Foley in 2000 put him on the map to be able to survive at the top. Triple H then says Mick Foley helped to make his career. Triple H then says anything with Shawn was a highlight. Triple H then says the match against Taker was important.

Rosenberg then asks Triple H if he looks around at what he is doing now. Triple says you need to fish the legend out of people. Triple H then says he quotes things from Killer Kowalski. Triple H then says he hopes people learn from him to have fun because it might not last forever. Rosenberg then asks about Jey Uso. Triple H says box office is about being on top. Triple H then says Jey is not going though the motions when he is in the crowd. Triple H then says his connection with the crowd is his moment. Rosenberg then asks about the Night One main event. Triple H says when nothing on the line, a triple threat can be a problem. Triple H then says this was a calculated gamble. Triple H then says these three men are at the top of their games. Triple H then says you have Seth and Roman, two people who have more history than anyone in the company at this time. Triple H then says Punk was supposed to be involved with the Shield. Triple H then says that Roman and Seth broke their backs to rebuild things after he left and there is a lot of animosity. Triple H then says some people think that Wrestlemania is a definitive end, but it could be the beginning. Triple H then says he was taught to tell them where you are going to go, but you adjust.

Jackie Redmond then joins Michael Cole and Big E on the panel, meaning McAfee and Barrett left the panel. Cole says they are all here today because of what Triple H has done over the last couple of years. Cole then cals it the Triple H Era. Cole then says Triple H will make a major announcement shortly. The panel then talks about the Red Carpet for the Hall of Fame.

We then see Wade Barrett interviewing Charlotte Flair. Flair is asked about her eighth Wrestlemania and title match. Flair says she takes it very serious and it is her domain. Flair then says every match has meant something to her. Flair is then asked about her injury at the 2023 Tribute to the Troops. Flair says she was feeling a certain way about the match and something didn’t feel right early in the match and she didn’t know what it felt to be injured. Flair then says she felt panic after the match.

Barrett then mentions the severity of her injury and he asks about the recovery and rehab. Flair says she didn’t think it would happen to her and she was given the diagnosis. Flair then mentions the pressures of everything going around her and she didn’t want to fall behind. Flair then mentions the problems with her marriage. Barrett then brings up the Royal Rumble and how she felt coming back to the ring. Flair says she was really nervous. Flair then says there cannot be an ounce of doubt coming to the ring. Flair then says she came out and did the spin and she was fine. Flair is then asked why did she choose Tiffany Stratton. Flair says Tiffany inspired her the most.

Barrett then brings up how things have gotten personal. Flair says she has a chip on her shoulder and so does Tiffany. Flair then says now people are invested in this match and what matters most to her is that people tune in to see her at Wrestlemania. Flair then says she does not know the outcome, but win or lose, she does not give up. Flair then says she has beaten the best and lost to the best. Flair then promises her fans and haters that she will put on the best possible show because that is what she does.

We are then told that Worlds Collide will take place on June 7th and that WWE has purchased AAA. Officials from AAA then join Triple H on the panel. Cole then asks Dorian what does this mean. Dorian says it is really important to them. Dorian then says it is the start of a new chapter in Lucha Libre. Dorian then says for the last three decades they have been running a company and told their talent that they are proud.

Cole then asks what does the partnership mean. Dorian says it is years in the making. Dorian says it is something that he has dreamed about for years. Cole then mentions how some of the top wrestlers will be seen globally. Cole then says they were talking about this for years and he asks when is the first time we get to see the talent. Triple H then thanks everyone from AAA and says they have nothing but respect for lucha libre. Triple H then says some of the best talents have come from AAA. Triple H then says the impact of lucha libre resonates through generations. Triple H then says he wants to further that connection and make people proud of that style. Triple H then says there was an article in the LA Times about lucha libre. Triple H then says he was watching Worlds Collide with Brian Pillman and William Regal 30 years ago. Triple H then says you only have to look at who is at this table today. Triple H then says you have Rey Mysterio, Rey Fenix, Raul and Joaquin, Penta, Dragon Lee, Santos Escobar, the Garzas, Andrade and Stephanie Vaquer. Triple H the mentions that you add that to AAA talent like Vikingo and it will be an incredible show because the future flies now.

We then see Jackie Redmond interviewing Rey Mysterio. Redmond asks him about his health situation. Rey says he wishes he could say he is feeling great. Rey then says he suffered an accident yesterday in the match with Julius Creed. Rey then says he is not medically cleared to wrestle tonight. Rey then says he has a replacement and that is a good thing. Rey then says lucha will be put on the map tonight and his replacement is Rey Fenix.

Jackie the asks Rey about the AAA acquisition. Rey says he got choked up at the announcement. Rey then says people didn’t believe he was a wrestler at that age, but there was one person who believed in him, Konnan, and he was introduced to Antonio Pena and he had his first chance on National TV for AAA in 1992. Rey then says he would have said you were crazy if he was told that in 1992. Rey then says this is great for the fans. Rey then says he is looking forward to being part of Worlds Collide in 2025 after being on the show in 1994.

Cathy Kelley is on the stage and she mentions that fans can sit on the stage this year. Peter Rosenberg then replaces Michael Cole and Jackie Redmond takes over as host.

We then get a video package looking at the WWE World Championship Match.

We then see Jackie Redmond interviewing Jey Uso. Jey says it has been a rough couple of weeks because of what happened to Jimmy. He is then asked how this affected him preparing for the match. Jey says it made him focus. Jey then says a lot has happened and he started to listen to the noise and the internet talk. Jey then says GUNTHER silenced that and embarrassed him on national TV. Jey then says his mom and dad are worried and his kids are worried. Jey then says it feels different. Redmond then says that this is the most serious that Jey has been. Jey then says he needs to return to what got him to the show and that is whooping ass. Jey then says he needs to run through it in the ring. Redmond then asks about going from tag team wrestling to singles wrestling and how leaving the Bloodline helped this. Redmond then asks what was he thinking winning the Rumble. Jey says he never thought he would be in the ring last with John Cena or eliminating him. Jey then says he was the last pick to win the Rumble. Jey then says he shocked the world. Jey then says he is the last pick to beat GUNTHER. Jey then says he is going to shock the world again. Jey then says if he loses it is over. Jey then says all the work to get here is gone. Jey then says it is do or die.

We then get a video package on Jey Uso and his time in Las Vegas for WrestleMania.

Joe Tessitore and Sam Roberts then take over the Countdown show and they discuss the WWE World Tag Team Championship Match.

We then see Byron Saxton interviewing The New Day. Byron brings up how it has been more than 4 years since they have been champion and never won a tag match at Wrestlemania. Woods says they will win tonight. Woods then says they don’t lose title matches in Vegas. Kofi then yells at Byron for bringing the negative energy. Kofi then says the last time they were in Vegas they won a title and they celebrated on the strip. Kofi then says tonight will be a repeat.

The panel then talks about the WWE United States Championship Match.

Big E, Jackie Redmond and Peter Rosenberg then make their way inside.

We then see video footage from earlier today of Bayley being knocked down and in pain. Bayley says she was attacked and Lyra checks on her. Bayley then says it is her shoulder and Adam Pearce wants to know what is going on. Liv and Raquel. then show up and Lyra goes after them. Pearce then says he doesn’t know if they did it, but he wants them to come clean. Liv then says they didn’t do it. Pearce then says it isn’t funny if Bayley cannot wrestle. Pearce then says there will be a match tomorrow. Liv then asks if it will be a handicap match. Lyra then says she wants both of them. Pearce then says she is not going alone. Pearce then says she has 24 hours to find a new partner.

We then see Tom Rinaldi on the ramp on the floor and we get a video feature about a special fan.

Stephanie McMahon then joins the panel. She says she isn’t used to cheers for her. She is then asked about her husband being inducted. She says it is something she doesn’t take lightly. She then says the relationship he has with the fans is longer than what they have. She then says to celebrate 30 years is a remarkable journey. Big E then asks about the new things she is doing. Stephanie says she wasn’t sure if she wanted to do something but Nick and Paul pressured her. She then says she gets a text from Peyton Manning so she figures she should do it. She then says to be able to hear the stories and overcoming adversity has been a blessing for her. Peter then asks what is the first memory she has of Wrestlemania. She says it is sitting in the crowd at Wrestlemania 1 and watching her dad and Hogan talking about what was going to happen. She then says she didn’t know what was riding on the show and how her life could have changed. She then says the connection with the fans has grown every year. Big E then asks if Stephanie misses being involved with the talent. She says she is here for everyone’s success. They then talk about the Women’s Title Match.

The hosts then discuss more while the broadcast team members make their entrances.

WWE WrestleMania 41 Saturday Results (4/19/25): Live Match Updates and Highlights

WWE WrestleMania 41 Saturday opens up with Michael Cole welcoming us and narrating the arrivals of Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, CM Punk, Paul Heyman, Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton. We then get backstage shots of GUNTHER and Jey Uso.

We then get a WrestleMania video package narrated by Triple H.

Paul “Triple H” Levesque is then introduced by ring announcer Alicia Taylor. Paul “Triple H” Levesque is in the ring. Triple H says it is his distinct honor to welcome everyone to Las Vegas, where for the first time ever all of you are being seen by the entire globe live. Triple H then welcomes everyone to Wrestlemania. Pyro then shoots off on the elaborate stage.

Michael Cole then welcomes us to the show again and he is joined by Wade Barrett and Pat McAfee. Cole then says over 60,000 fans will be in attendance.

A DJ table is then raised from underneath the ring. The front of the table had a Fatal Fury logo on it. Salvatore stands behind the desk while a group of people dances around him. Jey Uso’s entrance theme then plays while we see men holding “Yeet” flags and they ran onto the entrance ramp and Las Vegas Raiders’ cheerleaders dane in the stands.

We then get the entrances of the first match of WrestleMania 41 Saturday, which is a WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match: “The Ring General” GUNTHER (c) vs. “Main Event” Jey Uso

The match starts off with both men locking up. Jey then hits a couple of shoulder tackles on GUNTHER and both men lock up once again. GUNTHER then sends Jey crashing out of the ring off the top rope with a chop to his chest, then sends him back inside. GUNTHER then sends Jey in the corner and hits him with a chop, then sends him into the opposite corner. Jey then responds with a spear and goes for a pin, but GUNTHER kicks out. Jey then follows it up with a Samoan Drop on GUNTHER and both men teeter on the ropes before GUNTHER hits a suplex on Jey and follows it up with a shotgun dropkick. GUNTHER then follows it up with a powerbomb, but Jey hits a hurricanrana and a spear on GUNTHER. Jey then climbs up the ropes and hits a Uso Splash, then goes for a pin but GUNTHER kicks out.

GUNTHER then grabs the World Heavyweight Championship belt and looks to head to the back as the referee begins a ten count. Jey then looks to hit a tope suicida on GUNTHER, but GUNTHER nails him with the belt. He then follows it up with a Frog Splash and Hammer and Anvil elbows on Jey, then cinches in a Sleeper hold on Jey. Jey then escapes and both men exchange chops with one another. He then hits a German suplex on GUNTHER, but GUNTHER responds with a shotgun dropkick. Jey then hits a spear on GUNTHER, then follows it up with three Uso Splashes and cinches in a sleeper on GUNTHER. GUNTHER then taps out.

After the match, Jimmy Uso makes his way down to the ring to celebrate with Jey and he hands him the title belt.

Music producer Rick Rubin, magician Criss Angel, San Francisco 49ers’ tight end George Kittle are then shown in the crowd. Kittle slams a beer, while McAfee says Kittle is celebrating his eighth WrestleMania.

We then get a video package and the entrances of the next match of WrestleMania 41 Saturday, which is a WWE World Tag Team Championship Match.

WWE World Tag Team Championship Match: The War Raiders (Erik and Ivar) (c) vs. The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods)

The match starts off with The New Day attacking The War Raiders. Ivar then tags in and Erik bodyslams him onto Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston on the outside. He then hits a crossbody on Woods and Kingston and tags in Erik. Erik then tosses Woods over to Ivar, who hits a crossbody on him off the top rope. Kingston then tags in and hits a leg drop on Erik as he is draped through the bottom rope. He then hits a Famouser on him, then tags in Woods. Woods then continues to wear Erik down, then tags Kingston back in. Erik then sends Kingston crashing on top of Woods, then tags in Ivar. Ivar then sends Kingston crashing into the mat and hits a crossbody on him, then hits a senton on him. Kingston then nails Ivar with a roundhouse kick to his head, then tags in Woods.

Ivar then nails Woods and Kingston with a springboard double back elbow, but Kingston tags back in and delivers some right hands on Ivar’s spine with Kingston. Kingston then holds Ivar in place as Woods climbs up the middle rope, but Erik catches him with a strike mid-air and Ivar nails Kingston with a spinning back heel kick. Ivar then hits a moonsault on Kingston and goes for a pin, but Woods breaks the fall with an elbow drop off the ropes. Woods then nails Erik with a kick and a knee to his face, but Erik hits him with a knee to his face and tags in Ivar. Woods then climbs up to the top rope as Kingston holds Ivar in place, then hits a double stomp on him off the top for the win.

The winners and new WWE World Tag Team Champions, The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods)!

After the match, The New Day head up to the ramp and celebrate their title win by raising up high above their heads.

We then get a video package and the entrances of the next match of WrestleMania 41 Saturday, which is a Singles Match.

Singles Match: Jade Cargill vs. Naomi

The match starts off with both women locking up and Cargill going straight after Naomi. She then delivers some right hands on her and sends her crashing into the top turnbuckle face first. The action then spills out of the ring and Cargill sends Naomi crashing into the barricade. Naomi then dropkicks Cargill out of the ring, then goes for a pin back inside but Cargill kicks out.

Naomi then continues wearing down Cargill, but Cargill hits a backbreaker on Naomi and sends her crashing into the mat face first. She then nails her with a superkick and climbs up the ropes. Naomi then responds with a moonsault off the ropes on Cargill and locks in a submission on her, but Cargill powers up to her feet and gets Naomi on her shoulders. Naomi then escapes, but Cargill gets her in an Electric Chair position and sends her crashing into the mat. Cargill then follows it up with the Jaded for the win.

We then get a video package hyping Cardi B hosting the two-night SummerSlam event on August 2-3 in East Rutherford, New Jersey at MetLife Stadium. Cole then hypes Joe Tessitore hosting the WrestleMania post-show. Cole says there will also be a recap podcast available on Sunday morning.

Comedian Lilly Singh and rapper Lil Yachty are then shown in the crowd.

We then get a video package and the entrances of the next match of WrestleMania 41 Saturday, which is a WWE United States Championship Match.

WWE United States Championship Match: “The Mega Star” LA Knight (c) vs. “The Samoan Werewolf” Jacob Fatu

The match starts off with both men wasting no time in going after each other. Knight then delivers some shoulders on Fatu’s midsection. He then follows it up with a neckbreaker and sets up for BFT on Fatu, but Fatu avoids it and hits a Samoan Drop on Knight. Knight then gets Fatu up, but Fatu counters into a crossbody. Knight then dropkicks Fatu’s knee and flies out of the ring to nail him, then sends him back in the ring.

Knight then sends Fatu crashing into the ring post in the corner, then hits a suplex on Fatu off the middle rope. Fatu then hits three Hip Attacks on Knight and flies off the top rope with a Swanton Bomb, then goes for a pin but Knight kicks out. Fatu then sets up for a moonsault on Knight, but Knight counters into a BFT and goes for another pin. Fatu then kicks out. Fatu then hits a Samoan Drop on Knight off the middle rope, then follows it up with a couple of moonsaults for the win.

After the match, Haku appeared at ringside and congratulated Fatu. Referee Charles Robinson then presents the title to Fatu and Fatu raises the title above his head to celebrate. Fatu then leaves the ring and climbs over the barricade where WWE President Nick Khan is standing.

Michael Cole then recalls WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio announcing on the Countdown show that he is not medically cleared. Cole then says Rey Fenix will replace Mysterio in the match against El Grande Americano. We then get a video package and the entrances of the next match of WrestleMania 41 Saturday, which is a Singles Match.

Singles Match: Rey Fenix vs. El Grande Americano

The match starts off with Americano shoving Vikingo in the crowd. Vikingo then hits an enzuigiri on Americano and Fenix hit a hurricanrana on Americano when he gets back in the ring. Fenix then locks up with Americano and hits him with a Monkey Flip before hitting a hurricanrana off the ropes and a missile dropkick off the top. Fenix then flies off the top rope to nail Americano on the outside and gets him back in the ring.

Fenix then climbs up the top rope and hits an arm drag on Americano, then follows it up with a double stomp on his chest. Americano then hits a belly-to-belly suplex on Fenix into the corner, then flies off the top rope with a reverse 450 Splash and looks to remove Fenix’s mask. Fenix then prevents him from doing so and hits Americano with the Fire Driver.

Americano then slips a piece of metal in his mask, but Fenix catches him with a hurricanrana and walks the ropes. Fenix then flies to nail Americano, but Americano cinches in an Ankle Lock on Fenix. Fenix then counters into a roll up, but Americano kicks out and climbs to the top rope. Americano then hits the diving headbutt on Fenix for the win.

After the match, Vikingo enters the ring and checks on Rey Fenix while Americano makes his exit. Vikingo then gets Fenix to his feet.

We then get video footage from the Countdown show of the announcement that WWE has acquired AAA. The AAA dignitaries are then shown sitting in the crowd.

WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels then makes his way to the stage and he announces that tonight’s attendance is 61,467 fans.

Actor Stephen Amell, MMA fighter Israel Adesanya and UFC President Dana White are then shown in the crowd.

We then get a video package and the entrances of the next match of WrestleMania 41 Saturday, which is a WWE Women’s Championship Match.

WWE Women’s Championship Match: Tiffany Stratton (c) vs. “The Queen” Charlotte Flair

The match starts off with both women wasting no time in going after each other. Stratton then sends Flair crashing into the ring, but Flair sends Stratton crashing into the barricade. Flair then sends Stratton’s head repeatedly bouncing off the mat back inside the ring, but Stratton locks in a Boston Crab on Flair. Flair then escapes, but Stratton hits a spinebuster on her.

Stratton then looks to hit the Prettiest Moonsault Ever on Flair, but Flair gets her knees up. Flair then hits a sit-out powerbomb on Stratton, then steps over Stratton and climbs up the ropes. Stratton then joins Flair up there, but Flair fights off Stratton.

Stratton then hits a spinebuster on Flair, then sends her knee bouncing off the mat twice. Flair then returns the favor by sending Stratton’s knee bouncing off the ring post twice, but Stratton hits a moonsault on Flair off the ropes. Stratton then follows it up with a Blockbuster off the middle rope and goes for a pin, but Flair kicks out. Stratton then sends Flair crashing into the corner spine first, then hits her with Prettiest Moonsault Ever for the win.

The winner and still the WWE Women’s Champion, Tiffany Stratton!

After the match, Stratton holds her title up in the air and celebrates.

We then get a video package looking at the 2025 WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony and this year’s inductees make their way out on the stage.

We then get a video package and the entrances of the main event of WrestleMania 41 Saturday, which is a Triple Threat Match.

Triple Threat Match: “The OTC” Roman Reigns vs. “The Best In The World” CM Punk vs. Seth “Freakin” Rollins

The match starts off with Punk rolling to the floor to talk to Paul for some wisdom while Roman and Seth stand in the ring and chat about something. Roman then hits an uppercut on Seth and he sends Seth into the turnbuckles. Roman then hits some punches and Punk stops Roman and punches him. Punk then chops Seth a few times. Punk then kicks Roman in the leg and Roman punches Punk. Punk then delivers some punches and Roman hits a flying clothesline. Roman hits another flying clothesline on Seth. Roman then clotheslines Punk over the top rope to the floor. Roman then goes to the floor for a Drive By on Seth.

Roman then sends Punk into the apron a few times. Roman then yells at Paul and he tries to send Punk into the ring post, but Punk reverses it. Seth then hits a suicide dive on Roman and he sends him into the ringside barrier and then the ring steps. Punk then kicks and punches Seth and Punk sends Seth into the ringside barrier. Seth then delivers some punches and Punk responds with punches of his own. Punk then hits a front face lock and a clothesline. Punk then hits a double sledge off the ringside barrier. Punk then hits Seth with a chair a few times. Seth then hits Punk with the section pole followed by a trash can. Seth then hits Punk in the back a few times with the trash can. Punk then kicks Seth and he suplexes Seth onto a trash can on the floor. Punk then hits some punches and he throws a trash can at Seth. They then go back to the ringside barrier and Roman hits a plancha onto Seth and Punk.

Roman then sends Punk over the ringside barrier onto the announce table. He then sends Seth onto Punk. Roman then adjusts the announce desk and he sends Seth into the ring steps and hits him with a plastic beverage prop. Roman then sends Punk into the apron. Roman then uses the plastic beverage prop on Seth again. Roman then punches Punk and follows with a head butt. Punk then hits a chop and he sends Roman into the ring. Punk then mocks Roman and goes for a running knee, but Roman blocks it and Roman hits a Samoan drop. Seth then goes for a springboard move, but Roman punches him. Roman then sets for a Superman punch, but Punk blocks it and hits a swinging neck breaker. Seth then goes for a slingshot move, but Punk catches Seth. Seth then gets to his feet and Punk hits a knee to Roman in the corner followed by a leg lariat on Seth. Punk then hits a knee on Seth in the corner followed by one on Roman. Punk then hits a knee on Seth and on Roman. Punk then hits a neck breaker on Roman and a DDT on Seth. Punk then goes up top for an elbow drop and he hits it on Seth.

Roman then puts a guillotine on Seth and he adds a body scissors. Rollins. then gets to his feet and he turns it into a Northern Lights Suplex for a near fall. Roman then holds on to the guillotine and Punk hits a Stomp on Roman and a GTS on Seth for a near fall. Punk then punches Seth. Punk then picks up Roman and he goes for a GTS, but Punk drops Roman and picks up Seth. Punk then hits a GTS on Seth. Roman then hits a spear and Punk hits a stomp.

Paul then grabs a chair and he carries it to the ring and he looks up for guidance. He then pushes the chair to Punk. Paul then gets in the ring and he helps Punk up. Paul then hits a low blow on Punk. Paul then yells at Punk and hands the chair to Roman. Paul then acknowledges Roman and Roman hits Punk with the chair. Paul then reminds Roman that he can get revenge on Seth and Roman pushes Paul out of the way. Paul then low blows Roman and he gives the chair to Seth. Paul then sits in the corner and Seth stands over Roman. Seth then hits Roman with the chair. Seth then hits a stomp on Roman and he gets the three count.

The winner of the Triple Threat Match, Seth “Freakin” Rollins!

After the match, Heyman stands with Rollins while Cole recalls Rollins selling his soul when he left The Shield and the show comes to a close.
