NXT Worlds Collide Set to Return with AAA Talent Involved

NXT has gone through many changes since Shawn Michaels took charge, but fans still miss some of the classic events from the past. In fact, it appears that one of those events, NXT Worlds Collide, is making a comeback this year.

According to WrestleVotes, it has been revealed that NXT Worlds Collide is set to take place on June 7th at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, and it will feature talent from the legendary Mexican promotion AAA.

The Worlds Collide event has always seen NXT stars put on the performance of their lives. The last time a Worlds Collide event took place was back in 2022, which saw Bron Breakker unify the NXT and NXT UK Title and Mandy Rose do the same for the Women’s division.

In the past, Worlds Collide events have featured standout matches, with superstars showing they’re ready for the global spotlight. With AAA’s high-flying luchadores now confirmed for the 2025 edition, this year’s event is set to be even more exciting and full of variety.

Bringing back NXT Worlds Collide is another smart move by Shawn Michaels as part of his creative direction.
