Triple H is gearing up for his WWE Hall of Fame induction—but he’s also reflecting on the health scare that changed everything.

The 14-time world champion and WWE Chief Content Officer opened up about his heart condition during an appearance on the High Performance podcast. The Game revealed that despite having a defibrillator in his chest following a near-fatal cardiac event in 2021, he’s doing just fine now.

“I have defibrilated my chest,” he shared. “I don’t think about it… and it’s never gone off and my heart’s 100%. And I’m healthy.”

Triple H suffered the cardiac event in September 2021 and officially announced his in-ring retirement at WrestleMania 38. His last match was against Randy Orton on RAW in early 2021, which ended in a no contest. Since then, he’s taken over the reins creatively at WWE—and under his watch, the company has made massive strides in both storytelling and business momentum.

Now, as WrestleMania 41 looms just days away, Triple H is facing his biggest creative test yet. All eyes are on the man credited with WWE’s resurgence as he guides the company into a new era of storytelling and success.

Triple H is also set to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2025, with longtime best friend Shawn Michaels delivering the honors. It’s a full-circle moment for The Game, who has evolved from one of wrestling’s most dominant performers into the company’s strategic architect.

Do you think Triple H’s creative vision has made WWE better since taking over? Should he ever step back into the ring one last time—even for an appearance? Drop your thoughts in the comments and let us know what you think of The Game’s next chapter.
