Tonight’s WWE NXT airing April 8, 2025, promises an action-packed night live from the Capitol Wrestling Center (WWE Performance Center) in Orlando, Florida. The show sees WWE NXT Champion “The Ruler Of NXT” Oba Femi, Trick Williams and “The Young OG” Je’Von Evans take on three members of Darkstate (Cutler James, Saquon Shugars, Osiris Griffin and Dion Lennox) in a 6-Man Tag Team Match. Plus, Wes Lee faces Yoshiki Inamura in a Singles Match.

The show opens up with Kelly Kincaid interviewing WWE NXT Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer backstage and asking her for her decision on who she will face at NXT Stand & Deliver. Vaquer says she will decide her opponent after the opening match. Stephanie Vaquer’s music then hits and Vaquer makes her way down to the ring.
Vic Joseph, Corey Graves and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T then welcomes us to the show and Jordynne Grace makes her way down to the ring for the first match of the night. Jaida Parker makes her way down to the ring next.
The match starts off with both women taking turns in delivering right hands with one another. Both women then tumble out of the ring and Grace locks in a Sleeper on Parker, but Parker fights Grace off by sending her crashing into the ring apron spine first. Grace then sends Parker back in the ring, then hits a forearm on her and goes for a pin. Parker then kicks out and gets Grace up on her shoulders, then sends her crashing into the top rope face first. Parker then hits a Blockbuster on Grace and sends Grace onto the apron. Grace then climbs to the middle rope, but Parker drapes Grace across the middle turnbuckle and sends her crashing into the mat. Parker then hits a suplex on Grace and goes for a pin, but Grace kicks out.
Parker then wears Grace down with a submission hold, but Grace hits Parker with a powerslam and rolls up Parker. Parker then kicks out and sends Grace crashing into the top turnbuckle, then places her on there. Grace then sends Parker crashing into the mat, then hits a double chop on her and gets her up in an Electric Chair position. Grace then sends Parker crashing into the top turnbuckle face first.
Grace then follows it up with a reverse Fallaway Slam on Parker and goes for a pin, but Parker kicks out. The action then spills out of the ring and Parker slaps Vaquer. Vaquer then looks to nail Parker, but accidentally hits Grace to cause the disqualification.

After the match, all three women continue to brawl, but Giulia’s music hits and she makes her way down to the ring. Giulia helps Vaquer fight off Parker and Grace, but then nails Vaquer with a headbutt and hits her with a Death Valley Driver. Giulia then steps on Vaquer’s face and holds up the WWE NXT Women’s Championship.
Commentary then sends us to a highlight video package from last week’s Shawn Spears vs. Ricky Saints main event match.
We then see Hank & Tank (Hank Walker and Tank Ledger) chatting backstage. Swipe Right (Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes) then show up and trash talk to Hank & Tank.
WWE NXT Tag Team Champions Fraxiom (Nathan Frazer and Axiom) then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night.
We then see The Culling in a dark room. Jensen, Vance and Dame heavily apologizes for Spears losing the title last week. Spears says it’s okay and he is appreciative that he won a championship in WWE. Spears then says the title brought them together, but The Culling isn’t about his success, it’s about the rest of them. Spears then tells Dame to do well in her NXT Women’s North American Championship qualifier. Spears then tells Vance and Jensen to take down Hank & Tank.
Swipe Right (Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes) then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night. A picture-in-picture highlight video package of Swipe Right’s EVOLVE highlights are shown. Corey Graces says these two guys annoy him and talking to them is like talking to an internet meme. Vic Joseph then says Baylor looks like an Evil Matt Damon.
The match starts off with Smokes and Frazer and Smokes dropkicks Axiom off the apron. Brad Baylor then tags in and hits a spinebuster on Frazer as Smokes dropkicks him. Smokes then continues beating down Frazer, but Baylor and Axiom tags in. Axiom and Frazer then double team on Swipe Right and Axiom delivers some stomps on Baylor in the corner. Smokes then tags in and Axiom nails him with a Spanish Fly, then tags in Frazer.
Frazer then hits a standing moonsault on Smokes and goes for a pin, but Smokes kicks out. Baylor and Axiom then tag in, but Smokes nails him with a boot. Smokes and Baylor then double team on Axiom and Smokes climbs to the top. Axiom then sends Baylor crashing into Smokes, then hits a Spanish Fly on Smokes. Frazer then follows it up with the Phoenix Splash for the win.

We then see Fatal Influence chatting backstage. All three women argue over which of them will be put in a qualifying match for the Vacant NXT Women’s North American Title. Jazmyn Nyx stands up and says she is going to be in the qualifying match. Nyx then walks off.
Fatal Influence then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Sol Ruca and ZARIA follow.
The match starts off with both women locking up. Both women then go back and forth, but Ruca hits Nyx with a facebuster and kips up. Ruca then hits a vertical suplex on Nyx and follows it up with a couple of double knees on her, but Nyx sends Ruca crashing into the mat. Ruca then looks to fly off the top rope, but Nyx gets her boots up and nails Ruca using the ropes. Nyx then delivers some stomps on Ruca in the corner, but Ruca hits a forearm on Nyx.
Nyx then responds with a Northern Lights suplex on Ruca and transitions into a submission hold, but Ruca escapes. Nyx then nails Ruca with a knee, but Ruca delivers some chops on Nyx and hits a couple of springboard back elbows on her. Ruca then gets Nyx up on her spine and sends her crashing into the mat, then follows it up with a running knee. Nyx then hits the Nyx Kick to Ruca and pins her, but Ruca kicks out and nails Nyx with an enzuigiri. Ruca then follows it up with Sol Snatcher for the win.

We then head to the back, where Sarah Schreiber is interviewing Je’von Evans. Evans cuts off Schreiber and talks about how he told Trick Williams and Oba Femi they should get on the same page against Darkstate. Evans then says he got big timed by both Femi and Williams. Evans then says he will leave Stand & Deliver with the NXT Championship. Evans then thanks Schreiber for the interview.
Hank Walker and Tank Ledger then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night.
An unseen interviewer then asks Giulia at the parking lot why she attacked her friend Stephanie Vaquer. Giulia says at Stand & Deliver “No friends. Rematch.”
The Culling then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night.
The match starts off with Tank Ledger and Brook Jensen and Jensen goes straight after Ledger. Walker then tags in and hits Jensen with a shoulder tackle, then follows it up with a double splash on Jensen with Ledger and hits a second one on Niko Vance. Ledger then wears down Jensen with a Camel Clutch, but gets distracted by Vance beating down Walker on the outside.
Jensen then takes advantage and nails Ledger with a twisting neckbreaker as we see Shawn Spears watching the action from backstage. Vance. then tags in and wears down Ledger with a submission hold, but Walker and Jensen tag back in. Walker then nails Vance and Jensen, then hits Vance with a running boot on the outside. Jensen then climbs up the ropes and hits a flying knee-slam on Walker for the win.

We then head to the parking lot, where we see WWE NXT North American Champion Ricky Saints arrive in a white SUV.
WWE NXT North American Champion Ricky Saints then makes his way down to the ring to address the NXT Universe. Saints starts off by saying he promised that the revolution would be televised when he stepped foot in NXT and he is standing in the ring as the NXT North American Champion. Saints then says he was left with a bitter taste in his mouth last week when Ethan Page attacked him and Page is jealous he was able to do something faster and better than Page. Saints then calls Page out to the ring.
Lexis King’s music then hits and he makes his way out. King says Saints is worrying about the wrong guy and while he has some gold already with the WWE NXT Heritage Cup, next he would love to get some extra gold. Eddy Thorpe’s music then hits and he makes his way out. Thorpe says there are some people like him starving to get what they deserve and the NXT North American Championship represents the land stolen from his people and is his birth right. Thorpe then says Saints should be worried about him. Wes Lee’s music then hits and he makes his way out alongside Tyson DuPont and Tyriek Igwe. Lee makes his case as to why he should receive an NXT North American Championship, but King cuts him off. Thorpe then interrupts King, but Page blindsides Saints from behind and hits a neckbreaker. Page, Lee, Thorpe and King then all pick up the NXT North American Championship and begin brawling with one another.
We then see NXT General Manager Ava hanging out with her assistants Stevie Turner and Robert Stone. WWE NXT Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer then enters the room. Ava then asks Vaquer who she wants to face at Stand & Deliver and Vaquer says all of them. Ava then agrees and makes the match official for NXT Stand & Deliver.
We then see Sarah Schreiber interviewing Trick Williams. Williams talks about how he is gonna whoop both Femi and Evans’ asses at Stand & Deliver.
Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night.
The match starts off with Wes Lee hitting a dive on Yoshiki Inamura on the outside. Both men the get back in the ring and Lee flies from the apron over the top rope to land on Inamura. Lee then climbs to the top and hits a 450 Splash on Inamura. Inamura then moves out of the way and hits a back body drop on Lee. Inamura then hits some chops and forearms on Lee and follows it up with a delayed vertical suplex.
Lee the sends Inamura cashing into the middle turnbuckle face first and flies through the ropes to land on Briggs on the outside, then climbs to the top and looks to hit a crossbody on Inamura. Inamura then catches Lee and hits him with an Airplane Spin style slam, then climbs to the top. Igwe then hops up on the apron, but Briggs pulls him off. This then opens the door for Lee to hit a Kardiak Kick on Inamura for the win.

After the match, the replay shows that Igwe pulled the ropes and tripped Inamura.
Oba Femi then cuts a promo on Darkstate backstage. Femi talks about people being on edge about their unpredictability. Femi then says they hit him with their best shot and couldn’t take him down. Femi then says once he’s done with Darkstate he will give Evans and Williams the same fate as well, which is a defeat at his hands.
An ad for WWE EVOLVE is then shown.
The Culling then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night and No Quarter Catch Crew follows.
The match starts off with Izzi Dame going straight after Wren Sinclair. Sinclair hits a crossbody on Dame, then wears her down with a submission. Dame then escapes and hits a dropkick on Sinclair as we see Shawn Spears watching the action from backstage. Sinclair then delivers some chops on Dame, then hits a shoulder tackle on her and follows it up with a Bulldog. Sinclair then hits a Crucifix Bomb on Dame, but Dame kicks out and hits a sit-out powerbomb on Sinclair for the win.

Everyone who lost their qualifying matches for the NXT Women’s North American Championship are in NXT General Manager Ava’s office begging for a last chance match to get into the Ladder Match at Stand & Deliver. Ava says there won’t be a last chance match, but she has another idea in mind.
Vic Joseph then hypes the upcoming segments.
We then see Andre Chase give Kale Dixon and Uriah Connors some pointers on their match film study, but he walks away out of depression.
We then see Hank & Tank having a conversation with WWE Tag Team Champions The Street Profits. Dawkins keeps yelling for Hank & Tank to lock in. The Street Profits are then hyping up Hank & Tank for a number one contenders match next week.
Commentary then runs through the advertised lineup for next week’s show.
Je’Von Evans then makes his way down to the ring for the main event of the night. Evans’ entrance is quickly cut off by Trick Williams making his way down to the ring. Williams’ entrance is then quickly cut off by WWE NXT Champion Oba Femi making his way down to the ring. Darkstate (Cutler James, Saquon Shugars, Osiris Griffin and Dion Lennox) then make their way down to the ring.
The match starts off with Darkstate brawling with Femi, Williams and Evans. Dion Lennox then delivers some right hands on Femi. Saquon Shugars and Williams then tag in and Williams rolls up Shugars. Shugars then counters into a roll up, but Williams kicks out. Cutler James then tags in and Williams delivers some right hands on James. James then hits a backbreaker on Williams, but Shugars tags in and Williams hits him with a back body drop. Williams opts not to tag in Femi or Evans, but Shugars fires off chops on Williams. Williams then responds with a bodyslam on Shugars, then tags in Evans. Evans then nails Lennox on the apron, then hits a hurricanrana on Shugars and follows it up with a spinebuster.
Evans then looks to fly, but Griffin hops up on the apron. Darkstate then stares down Williams, Evans and Femi, but all three men hit boots on Darkstate. Femi then tags in and wears down Shugars, then tags in Williams. Evans then tags in and delivers some right hands on Shugars, then hits a springboard crossbody on him and a right hand from the apron. Evans then hits a crossbody on Shugars off the top rope and James is tagged in.
James then nails Evans with a clothesline and wears him down with a submission hold. Lennox then tags in and delivers some right hands on Evans, then tags Shugars back in. Lennox then bodyslams Shugars on top of Evans and Shugars hits a bodyslams on Evans. Shugars then follows it up with an elbow drop, but Lennox tags in and Evans nails him with an enziguiri.
Femi then tags in, pushing Williams out of the way to make sure he is tagged in. Femi then hits a back body drop on Shugars and sends Lennox crashing into the mat with a chokeslam, but Williams gets in Femi’s face. Evans then tags in and Femi and Williams deliver right hands on one another. Both men then clothesline each other out of the ring and Evans hits a Frog Splash on Lennox. Shugars then pulls Evans off the middle rope and hits a modified Triple Powerbomb on him as Shugars flies off the middle rope on Evans for the win.
