Love has come full circle for CJ Perry and Miro. After announcing their separation in late 2023, the wrestling couple is officially back together—and they’ve already renewed their vows in a private ceremony.
The couple told TMZ Sports that their reconciliation began in June 2024 when Miro, formerly known as Rusev in WWE, returned from his home country of Bulgaria. What started as casual conversations turned into something more as they gradually reconnected. By December, Perry had traveled to Bulgaria to spend the holidays with Miro, further strengthening their bond.
A few weeks ago, the two decided to make things official again, holding an intimate vow renewal ceremony at a church in Los Angeles. Despite publicly separating, they never actually filed for divorce, making it easier to pick up where they left off. Now, they’re fully back together and splitting their time between Los Angeles and Bulgaria.
Their relationship has always had a presence in the wrestling world. The two first met in WWE, where their real-life engagement even disrupted a storyline in 2015. They later worked together in AEW, with Perry making her AEW debut in 2023 to manage Miro. Their on-screen story took a dramatic turn when Perry betrayed Andrade El Idolo to help Miro win at AEW Worlds End. However, both have been absent from AEW programming since then because they both left the company.
Now that they’re back together, the question is whether they’ll step back into the ring as a couple. AEW released Perry in April 2024, and reports suggest Miro’s contract with the company expired earlier this year. With both currently free agents, fans are wondering if they’ll return to WWE, explore other promotions, or step away from wrestling altogether.
