Tonight’s episode of AEW Collision, airing February 8, 2025, promises an action-packed night live from the Fort Bend County Epicenter in Houston, Texas. The show will see AEW Continental Champion “The Rain Maker” Kazuchika Okada and the Hounds of Hell’s Buddy Matthews have a face-to-face. Plus, AEW Women’s World Champion “The Glamour” Mariah May will have a glamourous Exibition Match.

The show opens up with brief pre-taped promos from Mark Briscoe as well as “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher, who is with Brian Cage, Lance Archer and Mark Davis. Fletcher says his Don Callis Family members will not get involved in his match. Davis then looks annoyed by Fletcher.
We then get the Collision opening and Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness welcomes us to the show. Schiavone and McGuinness then runs down the card for tonight’s show.
The Death Riders (AEW World Champion Jon Moxley and Marina Shafir) make their way down to ringside and a security guard is tossed at ringside by Shafir. Moxley grabs a mic and complains about Adam Copeland wanting an AEW World Title shot and says he has no power here. Moxley then says he has a thousand reasons why he won’t give Cope a title shot. Moxley then says he doesn’t like anything about Cope. Moxley then says Cope doesn’t know anything about AEW or being AEW World Champion so he can take his challenge and stick it up his ass. Moxley then says they could have a fight and tells Cope to bring his friend Jay White to Grand Slam: Australia and he’ll whip both of their asses. Moxley then says if he decides it’s time to break Cope’s neck, he won’t come back from that. Moxley and Shafir then leave the ring, hops the barricade and heads to the back.
Commentary then runs through a list of previously advertised matches and segments and ring announcer Arkady Aura delivers the introductions for the first match of the night, while we get the entrances.
The match starts off with Strong placing Shane in a headlock and hitting a chop on him. Taylor then nails Strong with a left punch. Strong then kicks Shane as Kyle O’Reilly is tagged in. Taylor then pushes Kyle to the opposite corner and tags in Carlie Bravo. Bravo then takes down Kyle for only a one count. Bravo then hits Menard from behind. Menard then comes back and sends Carlie to the corner. Menard then tags in Angelo Parker as they double team Bravo. Parker then nails Bravo and Cole tags himself him as Bravo sends Cole to the corner. Menard then goes on commentary. Garcia is then tagged in as he takes down Bravo and Dean. Garcia then hits both Bravo and Dean with right hands and Taylor tags in. Taylor then grabs Garcia and headbutts Garcia. Dean then hits Garcia with a cutter on the apron. Taylor then hits Garcia with a leg drop.
Taylor then picks up Garcia, but he counters and picks up Taylor and slams him. Bravo and Dean then make sure Garcia doesn’t make the tag. Bravo is then nailed by Garcia. Kyle is then tagged in and Strong and Cole tags in and hits a pump kick on Shane, who rolls to the outside. Cole then picks up Bravo. Dean is tagged in and is dropped with a brain buster by Kyle. Cole then hits him with a neckbreaker and covers him for only a two count. Parker then comes in and nails Bravo with a backbreaker. Taylor then kicks Garcia and Cole nails Taylor.
Dean and Cole then clothesline each other. All the teams are now in and we get a brawl. Strong then picks up Menard and hits him with a back breaker. O’Reilly is then taken out with a side suplex by Bravo and Dean, who then double team Strong. Taylor then hits Parker with a package piledriver. Taylor then rolls out of the ring as O’Reilly hits him with a knee from the apron. Strong then clotheslines Taylor on the floor. Cole then hits Dean from behind with The Boom for the win.
The winners of the 3-Way Trios Match, The Undisputed Kingdom (Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong)!
After the match, Cole goes to shake the hand of Garcia, but PAC and Wheeler Yuta make their way down to the ring and sends Garcia to the floor. They then take out Cole. Claudio then makes his way down to the ring and has a microphone in hand. Claudio congratulates Cole on his victory, but wants to remind him who the best trios are as Cole is held down. Claudio says they picked a fight with the wrong trio as Strong makes his way down the ring and takes out the Death Riders. Cole then says he is so sick and tired of the Trios Champions and they think they can do whatever they want. Cole then challenges The Death Riders for the the World Trios Titles on Dynamite and we get a graphic making the match official for Dynamite.
We then get a video package on FTR and their accomplishments. They speak about how they have taken a backseat and say that ends now. Harwood then says they need to hold the AEW World Tag Team Titles for a third time.
We then head to the back, where Max Caster is being interviewed by Alicia Atout. Caster says Hangman Page got upset with him on Dynamite when he simply wanted to speak to the people. Caster then says he wouldn’t call him Hangman because he thinks of him as a HangPerson. Caster then mentions his open challenge and questions who can survive the Best Wrestler Alive on Dynamite.
We then get the entrances of the next match of the night, which is a Singles Match.
The match starts off with both men going at it. Keith then hits Bandido with a big kick. Bandido then tosses the poncho at Keith. Bandido then runs the ropes and takes down Keith. Bandido then hits Keith with huge drop kick, sending him down. Bandido then rolls up Keith for only a two count. Bandido then grabs Keith, but Keith comes back with a chop on Bandido, who then chops Keith. We then get a chop and strike exchange with both men. Bandido then hits Keith on the side of the head and goes to the top rope and comes down, but Keith catches Bandido and drops him face first.
Bandido then rolls up Keith, but Keith kicks out at two. Bandido is now up on the top and comes down on Keith. Bandido then picks up Keith and slams him down. Bandido then covers Keith for only a two count. Bandido then runs the ropes, but Keith hits him with a big back elbow. Bandido then pulls himself up and Keith runs at Bandido as he gets a foot up. Both men are now up on the top rope. Keith then hits Bandido with a huge Spanish Fly and both men are down. Keith is up first, then Bandido.
Keith then chops Bandido repeatedly. Bandido then responds with chops of his own and then a big kick. Both men then stand back to back then do the ten paces and charge at each other, taking each other down. Both men then stare each other down. Keith then slaps Bandido, but Bandido picks up Keith, spins him around and hits him with a knee. Bandido then hits Keith with a twenty-one plex for the win.

We then head to the back, where Lexy Nair is interviewing Powerhouse Hobbs. Hobbs tells Big Bill that he will be in Texas all week long. Hobbs then challenges Bill to a fight and asks Bill if he is a big bad baby.
LFI then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Ares Alexander, Jay Alexander and Brick Savage are already inside the ring.
The match starts off Dralistico and Ares. Mortos is then tagged in and he takes down Ares. Dralistico then comes in from the top and drop kicks Ares and Jay. RUSH is then tagged in and he charges at Ares. RUSH then hits a big running drop kick on Ares for the win.

After the match, LFI attacks Ares as Brick and Jay comes in and tries to make the save, but LFI is too much. Komander then makes his way down to the ring and clears the ring with kicks. Komander then runs the ropes, but Dralistico is up and pulls him out. Dralistico then sends Komander back in the ring as LFI tries to pull the mask of Komander. The lights then go out and we get a video package featuring Hologram. Hologram then makes his way down to the ring and he takes out Dralistico and stomps the top of the head of RUSH and nails Mortos and sends him out of the ring. Hologram and Komander then run the ropes and take out Dralistico and Komander as the fight continues near the double tunnels. RUSH then threatens the referees with a chair. A referee then holds him back as RUSH punches a referee, taking him out.
We then head to the back, where Lexy Nair is trying to talk to Megan Bayne. Thunder Rosa then shows up and tries to welcome Bayne to AEW. She says that Bayne has a bad attitude. Rosa then hypes up her match for tonight against Penelope Ford.
Harley Cameron is now standing in the ring with a microphone and a couple of guitars. Cameron also showed that she had her Mercedes Moné puppet with her. Cameron then sings a song called “The Money Train” until she is interrupted by Moné’s entrance music. TBS Champion Mercedes Moné then makes her way out and speaks as she walks to the ring. Moné asks Cameron is she is stupid or dumb, then says no one came to watch her halftime show. Moné then enters the ring and tells the Houston crowd to say hello to their CEO.
Moné was about to call Cameron a loser, but Cameron cuts her off to say legend instead. Cameron then sings her next song “Feel The Wrath”. Moné then dances along for a moment before she cuts her off. Moné then says Cameron is talented, but they needed to get real. Moné then looks at Cameron’s chest and says, “That is if there’s anything real about you.” Moné then tells Cameron that she’s not on her level and calls her a loser. A “Harley” chant then breaks out. Cameron says she’s new to this and can only dream to achieve in her career what Moné already has. Cameron then says she’s here today and she’s not stopping. Cameron then says Moné is a game changer, but the most entertaining she has ever been is when she had her hand up your puppet ass.
Moné then slaps Cameron, who gets fired up and yells “Feel The Wrath” before hitting Moné with the microphone. Moné then gets a mic. Moné then grants Cameron a TBS Title shot at Grand Slam Australia and says she will embarrass her in front of her friends and family. Cameron then plays to the crowd and they chant her name again.
Lexy Nair then sits in a chair next to Buddy Matthews and another chair. She says Kazuchika Okada was supposed to join them, but he isn’t there. Okada then shows up and takes his seat. Matthews then says it will be Australia’s best versus Japan’s best when they meet at Grand Slam: Australia. Matthews then asks Okada to look him in the eye and tell him if he believes what he’s saying or if it’s just a facade. Okada then laughs and calls him a b***h. Matthews then teases hitting Okada, who flinches. Matthews then told Okada he will see him in Brisbane.
Dustin Rhodes then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night, while his opponent is already in the ring.
The match starts off with Rhodes hitting the CrossRhodes, then getting the pin for the win.
The winner of the Singles Match, ROH World Tag Team and ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champion “The Natural” Dustin Rhodes!
After the match, Dustin grabs a mic and cuts a promo on MJF. Dustin says MJF calls himself the devil, but he’s not the devil. Dustin then says he went to hell and looked the devil in the eye and kicked his teeth in. Dustin then says he ripped, teared and crawled his way out. Dustin then calls himself a survivor. Dustin then says he’s the last of his kind. Dustin then says whatever MJF thinks he’s going to do to him has already been done. Dustin then says he will drag MJF to hell and he’ll meet the actual devil when they meet on Dynamite. Dustin then says he will give MJF a Texas-sized ass whooping for the ages. Dustin then wonders if the business will remember MJF once he’s done. Dustin then says “They will damn sure remember me.”
AEW World Trios Champions PAC, Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta then cuts a backstage promo. PAC says they have been champions for what feels like an eternity and very few have had the guts to stand up to them. PAC then says they welcome the challenge of Adam Cole, Roderick Strong and Kyle O’Reilly and look forward to making an example of them. Castagnoli then says the Undisputed Kingdom have teeth and are worth their time. Castagnoli then says it’s too bad they’ll have to pull their teeth on Dynamite.
We then get the entrances of the next match of the night, which is a Singles Match.
The match starts off with both women locking up as Ford puts Rosa in an armbar. Rosa then tries to break the hold and then takes Ford down, but Ford applies a headlock with her legs. Rosa then breaks the hold. Both women then lock up again as Rosa goes to chop Ford, but she ducks. Rosa then takes Ford down with a few arm-drags. Rosa then hits Ford with with running clothesline. Rosa then covers Ford for only a two count. Ford then sends Rosa to the corner and hits her with a shoulder block. Ford then takes Rosa down with forearm shot followed by knees to the mid-section as Rosa lay flat on the apron.
Ford then hits a gut buster on Rosa and covers her for only a two count. Ford then drops Rosa and then covers her for only a two count. Ford then puts the boot to Rosa in the corner. Ford then goes for a hand spring, but Rosa moves. Rosa then gets a couple of fists to the face of Ford. Rosa then runs at Ford, taking her down and then runs the ropes and hits Ford with a running drop kick. Rosa then covers Ford, but Ford kicks out at two. Ford is up and comes back, sending Rosa to the corner and nails her with shoulder blocks.
Ford then hits Rosa with a back elbow and then licks her face. Ford is up on the top rope as Rosa is down. Ford then tries a moonsault and misses as Rosa rolls out of the way. Rosa then covers Ford for only a two count. Ford then takes Rosa down with a drop toe hold. Ford then drop kicks Rosa in the back. Rosa then rolls up Ford for only a two count. Rosa then hits Ford with a shotgun drop kick to the back of the head. Rosa then covers Ford for only a two count. Ford then drops Rosa with a cutter and covers her for only a two count. Rosa then kicks Ford in the back and then hits her with a Tijuana thunder-bomb for the win.

After the match, the music of Megan Bayne hits as she makes her way out of the tunnel. Megan then enters the ring. Ford then hits Rosa from behind and pounds on her while Bayne walks around. Rosa is still down. Bayne then takes her head dress off and picks up Rosa and face plants her in the ring.
We then get a video footage of Swerve Strickland attacking Ricochet at the DEFY show on Friday in Seattle.
Lexy Nair is now backstage with Bon Bee, the owner of Trill Burgers – who is serving burgers for the fans at concessions and probably the talent and crew. Ricochet then shows up and interrupts the interview. Ricochet asks Bee if he is friends with Swerve. Ricochet then says this is his house and all the burgers belong to him. Ricochet then takes a bite and spits it out saying its trash. A cook of Trill Burgers then grabs the worker and takes him out.
Mariah May’s music then hits and she makes her way down to the ring with a bag for the next match of the night as her opponent is already in the ring.
The match starts off with May kicking Shay Carmichael, who is dressed up similar to Toni Storm. May then picks up Carmichael and hits her with the May Day for the win.

After the match, May brings in the bag and pulls out a black cloak. May then puts it on Carmichael and wipes lipstick all over Carmichael. Luther then makes his way down to the ring and hands a shoe to May. May then spits in the face of Luther. May then grabs the shoe to go after Carmichael, but its actually now Toni Storm as she hits May with the shoe, sending May packing through the crowd. Luther then holds up Storm on his shoulders.
Tony Schiavone then says something is going on backstage. The cameras then catch up with Lance Archer and the rest of the Don Callis Family taking out security, Jay and Ares Alexander.
We then get the entrances of the main event of the night, which is a Singles Match.
The match starts off with Kyle Fletcher hitting Mark Briscoe with a big kick. Fletcher then stomps on Briscoe in the corner. Fletcher then chops Briscoe and scoops him up and slams him down. Fletcher then picks up Mark, but Mark comes back with big rights and then a back elbow, sending Kyle to the floor. Mark then leaps over the ropes, sending Fletcher down. Briscoe then grabs a chair and tosses it in the ring. Briscoe then pulls a table from under the ring and sets it up on the outside. Briscoe then hits the ring and sends Fletcher back to the outside, then hits him with a drop kick through the ropes. Briscoe then leaps off the apron, but is caught by Fletcher who sends him head first into the ring post. Fletcher then picks up Briscoe and slams him on the ring apron and we see Briscoe bleeding heavily from the forehead.
Briscoe and Fletcher are in the ring. Fletcher and Briscoe then exchange shots. Fletcher then hits Briscoe with a big kick. Both men then run the ropes and take each other down with double clotheslines. Both men are up and Briscoe chops Fletcher, taking him down with an elbow shot. Briscoe then hits an exploder on Fletcher and covers him for only a two count. Briscoe then looks for a Jay driller on Fletcher, but Fletcher counters. Fletcher then hits Briscoe with a heat seeker and a big kick to the head. Fletcher then picks up Briscoe and powerbombs him and covers him for only a two count. Briscoe is up in the corner and Fletcher hits him with a big kick. Briscoe then recovers and hits Kyle with a fisherman’s buster.
Mark then goes to the ropes, but Kyle hits the ropes and takes down Mark. Fletcher then distracts the referee and lowblows Briscoe and picks him and drops him on his head. Kyle then covers Mark for only a two count. Fletcher then hits Briscoe with a half and half and follows it up with a second one. Briscoe is up and drops on the apron. Kyle then rolls to the floor to set up the table. Fletcher then goes to the ropes as Briscoe is up and fights him off, sending him to the floor. Briscoe then comes down off the top with a big froggy bow, sending Fletcher crashing through the table. Kyle is back in the ring and Mark comes of the top rope with a big elbow on Kyle. Mark then covers Fletcher, but Fletcher kicks out at two. Both men are on the top rope as Briscoe goes for a Jay driller, but Fletcher blocks it and kicks Briscoe. Fletcher then picks up Briscoe and hits him with a brainbuster on the top turnbuckle for the win.

After the match, Fletcher grabs a mic and says he told the fans he will prove tonight that the win Mark Briscoe got on him was a fluke. Fletcher then says he will do the same to Will Ospreay as he is the Protostar. Fletcher then says he will prove that the Best Bout Machine and the Aerial Assassin are not the future because he is. Fletcher then stands tall as the show comes to a close.
