Jay White then stops Moxley as he looks to leave, then challenges Moxley and Castagnoli to a tag team match against him and Cope in a Brisbane Brawl at Grand Slam: Australia.

We then see video Footage of Buddy Matthews challenging Kazuchika Okada to a Continental Title match on Collision. Okada laughs off the challenge initially, but Matthews calls him a b***h and that’s what it took as we learned the match is also official for Grand Slam.

Will Ospreay then makes his way down to the ring for the first match of the night. Don Callis then makes his way out and introduces Ospreay’s opponent, former member of Aussie Open and “Ospreay Killer” Mark Davis.

Davis then hits Ospreay with a jumping piledriver and pins him, but Ospreay kicks out. Davis then exposes the middle turnbuckle and looks to send Ospreay crashing into it, but the referee stops him. Ospreay then hits the Hidden Blade on Davis for the win.

The winner of the Singles Match, “The Aerial Assassin” Will Ospreay!

After the match, Ospreay grabs a microphone as the crowd chants for him along to his music. Ospreay then thanks the crowd for their enthusiasm and then turns his attention to Callis. Ospreay says he has a new friend he would like to introduce to the party pooper Don Callis.

Kenny Omega’s music then hits and he makes his way out as Callis retreats through the crowd. Omega then calls out Davis and says man-to-man, he has no clue what Callis has on him, but help is there for him and there are people here that he can trust. Omega then says listening to the cheers of the fans made him want to come to the ring as Konosuke Takeshita and Kyle Fletcher appear on the entrance ramp being held back by Callis. Omega then says the four of them can brawl right now, but if not, then they can pack a bag and get ready for next week.

We then get a video package looking at the rivalry between Ricochet and Swerve Strickland.

The Hurt Syndicate (AEW World Tag Team Champions “The All Mighty” Bobby Lashley and “The Standard of Excellence” Shelton Benjamin and MVP) then make their way down to the ring. MVP starts off by saying this is an official announcement from The Hurt Syndicate and asks the crowd to stand for the Standard of Excellence, Shelton Benjamin and The Almighty Bobby Lashley, the new AEW World Tag Team Champions. MVP then says he’ll keep this short as they have a plane to catch for the Super Bowl. MVP then puts over Private Party and says they are talented people, who were in the wrong place at the wrong time. MVP then puts the locker room on notice and says if you’re an athlete or champion The Hurt Syndicate will hurt you and take your title when they choose to. MVP then says they are now open for business and if anyone wants an opportunity they will accept it.

The lights then go out and the returning Austin Gunn and Colten Gunn are shown on the ramp. Lashley and Benjamin didn’t budge initially as Austin says they mean no disrespect since they are also businessmen and want to talk business. MVP then says they aren’t dressed as such, but respects that they want to do this as men. MVP then invites them in the ring. Austin and Colten then make their way down to the ring and introduces themselves as former AEW World Tag Team Champions. We then head to the back, where Renee Paquette is outside of Mercedes Moné’s locker room. Paquette is then joined by a Harley Cameron as a Mercedes Moné puppet and says Harley Cameron is going to be live in concert this Saturday on Collision. Moné then shows up and interrupts Cameron, then asks Cameron is she is stupid or dumb and mockingly congratulates Cameron on her first ever win. Moné then says she remembers how she felt winning all her titles. Moné then says she is the greatest TBS Champion of all time and Cameron is nothing but a loser, then she rips the puppet off Cameron’s hand and says to stay off the Moné Train. Moné then leaves and Cameron tries to flip her off.

We then see Renee Paquette interviewing “Hangman” Adam Page. Paquette asks Page why he was looking for Swerve Strickland last week and Page says it was a moment of weakness and we won’t address it again nor should she ask. Paquette then asks about the potential regret on his face when he learned Christopher Daniels’ in-ring career was over. Page then denies it and says that’s what happens when you face him in a Texas Death Match.

Max Caster is then shown off camera and he tells Paquette to wrap it up as he has been waiting forever for his promo. Page then asks Caster if he has a problem. Caster then tells Page he respects him and he is too busy with his Open Challenges to fight, but it would be a shame if he put someone like Anthony Bowens in the hospital or end Billy Gunn’s career. Caster then thanks them for their time and leaves, but Page said it’s okay and he will follow him out there.

We then get the entrances of the next match of the night, which is a Tag Team Match.

King then kicks out, but Fletcher and Takeshita hit an assisted Brainbuster on King for the win.

HOOK then gives Joe some advice before they rushed to The Patriarchy’s locker room to find only Kip Sabian and Nick Wayne. Joe and HOOK were going to leave, but Joe says they will send a message and laid both Sabian and Wayne out with Christian Cage and Mother Wayne peaking in from the door. Joe and HOOK then leaves and Cage walks in and asks what the hell just happened.

MJF then makes his way down to the ring. MJF wastes no time in addressing Jeff Jarrett, then says the E in AEW stands for Elite and not elderly.
