Saraya isn’t holding back. After months of speculation about her absence from AEW television, the former WWE Divas Champion finally set the record straight—and took down a fan in the process.
On January 16, 2025, Saraya posted a casual shot of herself rocking a Stone Cold Steve Austin hoodie with the caption, “That’s the bottom line.” While most of her followers enjoyed the post, one fan took the opportunity to throw shade, commenting: “That why Tony doesn’t put you on TV. Find an AEW shirt.”
Never one to back down, Saraya clapped back with a fiery response, revealing the real reason she’s been absent from AEW programming: “You’re so moronic. I asked for time off for the first time in my career for personal reasons and Tony was gracious enough to give me that. Also, I’m a 32-year-old woman. I can wear whatever tf I want.”
This marks the first time Saraya has publicly addressed her time away from AEW, shutting down speculation that she was being kept off TV for other reasons. Her statement also confirms that Tony Khan fully supported her decision to take time off, proving that the AEW President continues to stand by his talent when they need a break.
Saraya previously disappeared from Twitter in December following the controversy surrounding leaked content from her Patreon. She returned to the platform on December 23, and while she’s remained vocal online, she had yet to speak on her AEW status—until now.
With this latest exchange making waves, all eyes are now on when and how she’ll make her AEW return. Given Saraya’s track record, one thing’s for sure—when she comes back, it won’t be quiet.
