Kurt Angle had an amazing career as he became a wrestling legend in WWE and later had a great run in TNA. He eventually finished his wrestling career in WWE and now, he has addressed the idea of coming back to WWE for any given role.

While speaking to Story Time With Dutch Mantell, Kurt Angle was asked if he was completely done with any regular role in a wrestling company, especially in WWE, and whether he might return to WWE in a non-wrestling role.

Kurt Angle explained that he’s reached a point in his life where he’s content and no longer feels the need to take on such roles. He feels he has nothing left to prove or add to his legacy, and he’s proud of the successful career he had.

No. You know what, Dutch, I’m at a point in life where I’m okay. I don’t need to do that anymore. I don’t need to prove who I was or add anything to my legacy. I’ve had a pretty damn good career, and I’m proud of it.”

Angle hasn’t competed in the ring for over five years as his last match was against Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 35 in 2019, which turned out to be his final bout, and he has never competed since then. Angle has now made it clear he has no interest in returning to WWE in any capacity and fans will simply have to accept that fact.

What do you think about Kurt Angle’s decision to step away completely from wrestling roles? Should he consider a behind-the-scenes or ambassadorial role in WWE, or is his decision to enjoy retirement the right move? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
