It’s Wednesday night and you know what that means! The Winter Is Coming episode of AEW Dynamite will go down tonight, and Ringside News has got you covered with live play-by-play results coverage for the December 11, 2024 episode.

The show opens up with Excalibur welcoming us and he is joined by Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness. The Death Riders (AEW World Champion Jon Moxley, Marina Shafir and AEW World Trios Champions “The Bastard” PAC and Wheeler Yuta) then make their way down to the ring through the crowd for the first match of the night and Jay White and Orange Cassidy follows.
The match starts off with PAC looking to blindside Cassidy and White from behind, but White and Cassidy see him coming. They then begin brawling with PAC and Moxley on the outside, with Cassidy sending PAC crashing into several of the barricades and White sending Moxley crashing into the ring apron and one of the barricades before delivering some right hands on him and biting him. White and Cassidy then send Moxley and PAC crashing into opposite barricades and Cassidy delivers some right hands on Moxley in the corner. White then sends PAC’s head bouncing off the announce desk as Moxley sends Cassidy crashing into the ring steps head first. White then sends PAC inside the ring. White then hits a backbreaker on PAC and goes for a pin, but Moxley breaks the fall and tags in. Moxley then hits a right hand on White, but White responds with several of his own. White and Moxley then exchange chops with one another, but White gains the upper hand and tags in Cassidy. Cassidy then sets up for the Orange Punch on Moxley, but Moxley rolls out of the ring to avoid it. PAC then sends Cassidy out to join him and delivers some stomps on him on the outside. PAC then tags in and hits some stomps on the side of Cassidy’s neck twice as we see The Patriarchy watching the action from a box in the crowd. Moxley then tags in and delivers some stomps on the side of Cassidy’s jaw, but Cassidy nails Moxley with a kick. White then tags back in and hits an uppercut on PAC in the corner, then follows it up with a chop and a DDT. White then hits a second one on Moxley, then charges at PAC. PAC intercepts White with a boot.
Moxley then delivers some right hands on White and some knees on his head in the corner. PAC then tags in and goes for a pin on White, but White kicks out as we see Kip Sabian, Nick Wayne and Mother Wayne leave Christian Cage alone in the box. PAC then sends White’s face bouncing off the turnbuckle, then tags in Moxley. Moxley then locks in a submission on White, then tags PAC back in. White then trips PAC and tags in Cassidy as Moxley tags in on his side. Cassidy and Moxley then deliver some right hands and strikes on one another and Cassidy hits a kick on Moxley’s face and nails PAC with a Tornado DDT. Cassidy then climbs up the ropes, but Moxley joins him. Cassidy then bites Moxley and hits him with a Tornado DDT off the top, then goes for a pin but Moxley kicks out. Cassidy then hits a second Tornado DDT, then follows it up with a Stun Dog Millionaire on PAC. White then takes down PAC, but Moxley nails him with a right hand. Wheeler Yuta then hops up on the apron, but Cassidy hits him with an Orange Punch and follows it up with a second one on Moxley. “Hangman” Adam Page then appears and delivers some right hands on Moxley, causing the disqualification.
The Tag Team Match ends in a No Contest due to outside interference!
After the match, Page continues delivering some right hands on Moxley, but Cassidy pulls him off Moxley. Page then begins brawling with Cassidy and White becomes involved until the three men are left laying in the ring. The Death Riders then get involved and beat down Cassidy, Page and White. The Death Riders then leave the ring and hop the barricade while White, Cassidy and Page are down in the ring.
Excalibur then hypes the first Continental Classic match of the night coming up next.
We then get the second part of the Bandido video vignette. They were back on the Old West set and the sheriff and three men wanted to arrest Bandido. This would then lead to Bandido fighting them all off and riding away on a horse.
We then head to the back, where Jon Moxley cuts a promo while the other members of The Death Riders are standing by. Moxley says White, Cassidy and Page all want title shots. Moxley then says egos ruin pro wrestling. Moxley then calls for a 4-Way Match at Worlds End.
Commentary then acts surprised by the 4-Way Match for the AEW World Championship at Worlds End. Christian Cage then interrupts the commentary team by speaking from the luxury box. Cage says he has a problem with every person in the 4-Way Match. Cage then says White cost him the AEW World Championship at Full Gear and Page did as well by not living up to his end of their deal. Cage then says he wants what Moxley has. Cage then says he will drive Moxley to drink and send him back to rehab. Cage then holds up his contract and says he will be the next AEW World Champion. HOOK then shows up outside the door of Christian’s suite. HOOK then breaks the glass on the door with his cast and then unlocks the door. HOOK then attacks Christian and dominates him until Nick Wayne and Kip Sabian returns and chases him away.
Will Ospreay then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Claudio Castagnoli follows.
The match starts off with Will Ospreay sending Claudio Castagnoli crashing out of the ring. Ospreay then flies out of the ring to land on Castagnoli, then sends him back inside of the ring and goes for a pin. Castagnoli then kicks out and Ospreay looks to hits him with an Os-Cutter. Castagnoli then nails Ospreay with a strike mid-air, then follows it up with an uppercut. Ospreay and Castagnoli then exchange right hands, but Castagnoli sends Ospreay crashing into the corner and hits him with an uppercut on the outside. Castagnoli then hits Ospreay with The Swing on the ring steps, then sends his face bouncing off them and traps him in them. Ospreay then hits a stomp on Castagnoli’s arm and looks to fly off the top, but Castagnoli nails Ospreay with an uppercut. Ospreay then hits a springboard hurricanrana on Castagnoli and follows it up with a vertical suplex. Ospreay then hits a standing Phoenix Splash on Castagnoli and goes for a pin, but Castagnoli kicks out. Castagnoli then hits a double stomp on the spine of Ospreay, then sends him crashing into the mat and charges at him. Ospreay then hits Castagnoli with a boot and looks to hit a Phoenix Splash, but Castagnoli sees him coming. Castagnoli then delivers some stomps on Ospreay’s head, but Ospreay responds with the Os-Cutter. Castagnoli then hits the pop-up uppercut on Ospreay and sets up for the Neutralizer. Ospreay then rolls up Castagnoli for the win.

After the match, Castagnoli blindsides Ospreay from behind and hits him with the Neutralizer. Castagnoli then grabs a chair, but Darby Allin makes his way down to the ring with a baseball bat to even the odds. Castagnoli then hops the barricade. Allin then stands on the floor and looks at Ospreay, who nods at him. Allin then nods back at Ospreay, while the commentary team hypes their Gold League Match for next week’s show.
We then head to the back, where Renee Paquette is interviewing Ricochet. Paquette asks Ricochet how he prepares for an opponent like Brody King. Ricochet says he came to AEW for the competition. Ricochet then says King is one of the toughest guys in the tournament, but he’s not Ricochet. After noting that they are both 1-1 in the tournament, Ricochet pulls out MVP’s card and says tonight he holds all of the cards.
We then see an SUV arrive in the parking area. A man then sticks his hand out and is seen wearing the Dynamite Diamond Ring. Commentary then says MJF is in the building.
We then get highlights of the Chris Jericho and Matt Cardona segment from Friday’s Rampage. We then head to the back, where Renee Paquette is interviewing Matt Cardona. Paquette asks Cardona if he is ready for Chris Jericho and Cardona says it is great to be back in AEW. Cardona then says he belongs in AEW. Cardona then says he has busted his ass to reinvent himself over the last five years. Cardona then says he has the biggest opportunity of his career facing Chris Jericho at Final Battle. Cardona then challenges Bryan Keith to a match for this Friday’s Rampage.
Adam Cole then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night. Kyle O’Reilly is then shown warming up backstage when Renee Paquette approaches him and asks how he has prepared for the match. Matt Taven and Mike Bennett then interrupts before O’Reilly can respond. Taven says they don’t have to go through with the match. Bennett then says the match is going to happen and tells O’Reilly to remember that they are still brothers. O’Reilly then says Adam Cole should have thought about that before they let one of their brothers get hurt. Kyle O’Reilly then makes his way down to the ring.
The match starts off with Adam Cole offering his hand to Kyle O’Reilly, but O’Reilly pushes it away. Both men then lock up. O’Reilly then hits a shoulder tackle on Cole, but Cole responds with a kick on O’Reilly’s head and both men lock up again. O’Reilly then locks in an Armbar on Cole, then rolls him up. Cole then kick out and slides out of the ring, but O’Reilly follows Cole out there and sends him crashing onto the floor. Cole then hits O’Reilly with a superkick and sets up for the Panama City Sunrise. O’Reilly then hits Cole with a knee to his midsection, then follows it up with a second knee off the apron and sends him back inside the ring. O’Reilly then climbs to the top and looks to hit a flying knee, but Cole avoids it and hits a sliding knee on O’Reilly. O’Reilly then cinches in a Knee Bar on Cole, but Cole grabs onto the bottom rope to escape and hits O’Reilly with the Panama City Sunrise. Cole then sets up for a running knee, but O’Reilly cinches in an Ankle Lock on Cole. Cole then escapes by sending O’Reilly crashing out of the ring, then follows it up with a superkick on his head. MJF then appears on the apron and looks to hit Cole with his Dynamite Diamond Ring, but Cole nails him. O’Reilly then looks to take advantage and rolls up Cole, but Cole kicks out and rolls up O’Reilly for the win.
The winner of the Singles Match, The Undisputed Kingdom’s Adam Cole!
After the match, MJF sells the jaw pain and exits through the crowd. Cole then stands on the ropes and jaw jacks at MJF, who is standing on the floor and barks back at Cole. Matt Taven and Mike Bennett are in the ring. Cole then offers O’Reilly a handshake, but O’Reilly rolls out of the ring.
Excalibur then says Tony Khan made Jon Moxley vs. Jay White vs. Hangman Page vs. Orange Cassidy in a 4-Way Match for the AEW World Championship official for the Worlds End PPV.
We then head to the back, where FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) speaks about the Fight For The Fallen edition of AEW Dynamite that will benefit their home city of Asheville, North Carolina. Harwood then says the show needs a big match and suggests they put their names in the hat for it. Harwood also challenges the Death Riders to show up on AEW Collision to have a conversation.
We then get a video for next week’s AEW Holiday Bash special that will feature Darby Allin vs. Will Ospreay in a Continental Classic Match and Mercedes Moné vs. Anna Jay for the TBS Title.
ROH World Champion Chris Jericho then hosts a new episode of New York Minute, while Bryan Keith stands by. Jericho says Keith will face Cardona on Rampage while he’s on commentary. Jericho also hypes a contract signing segment between him and Cardona for this week’s ROH on HonorClub.
We then get a video package recapping the Continental Classic Matches on Saturday’s Collision.
Excalibur then hypes Kyle Fletcher vs. Mark Briscoe in a Continental Classic Blue League Match for Saturday’s Collision. He also hypes Darby Allin vs. Will Ospreay for next week’s Dynamite.
We then see Tony Schiavone’s interview with Darby Allin from earlier in the day. Allin says The Death Riders are slowly chipping away at everything that makes AEW what it is. Allin then says he understands that a lot of young guys don’t want to get involved because it’s the first time they have made a living in pro wrestling. Allin then says if they don’t get involved then it’s going to keep happening. Allin then punches himself in the face a few times and is now bleeding from the mouth. Allin then says the blood and violence don’t bother him. Allin then says the thing that bothers him is no one doing anything about it. Allin then talks about the Continental Classic and says he needs to win it because it represents the passion of AEW. Allin then says nothing fools Moxley better than the lies he tells himself.
Excalibur once again hypes Darby Allin vs. Will Ospreay for next week’s Dynamite.
Ricochet and Brody King then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night.
The match starts off with both men locking up. King then sends Ricochet into the corner, then sends him out of the ring and powerbombs him onto the apron spine first. King then places Ricochet in a chair and hits him with a crossbody. Ricochet then delivers some right hands on King, but King nails Ricochet with a German suplex. Ricochet then hits King with an enzuigiri, then follows it up with a second one that sends King crashing off the apron. Ricochet then flies to land on King. Ricochet then sends King back inside and hits him with a 450 Splash over the top rope from the apron, then goes for a pin but King kicks out. Ricochet then hits a boot on the side of King’s jaw, but King turns Ricochet inside out with a clothesline and goes for a pin. Ricochet then kicks out and rolls up King, but King kicks out and Ricochet nails him with a jumping knee. King then hits a chop on Ricochet, then hits a splash on him in the corner and follows it up with a cannonball in the corner. King then goes for a pin, but Ricochet kicks out. King and Ricochet then teeter on the ropes and Ricochet powerbombs King off the middle rope and follows it up with a Shooting Star Press. King then cinches in a Sleeper on Ricochet, but Ricochet escapes and hits King with the Spirit Gun for the win.

After the match, the updated gold league leaderboard is shown.
We then see AEW World Tag Team Champions Private Party (Zay and Quen) cutting a promo. Action Andretti and Lio Rush then shows up and talks about wanting a title shot. Top Flight (Dante Martin and Darius Martin) then shows up with Leila Grey. Top Flight then pointed out that Rush and Andretti haven’t won many tag matches. Rush and Andretti then recalls eliminating Top Flight from the Dynamite Dozen Battle Royale. Zay then suggests that Top Flight face Andretti and Rush on Collision and the winners will get a title shot. Rush then says no hard feelings and has an awkward handshake with Darius.
Excalibur then hypes the main event. We then get a video package recapping Monday’s AEW All In: Texas on sale party. Bryan Danielson says he wouldn’t miss the event for anything. Sting was also at the event. An All In: Texas video is then shown to push tickets for the Globe Life Field event.
We then see Renee Paquette with TBS Champion Mercedes Moné and Anna Jay in the backstage area to promote their TBS Title Match on next week’s show. Paquette says that this is the 200th day of Moné’s reign. Paquette also brings up Moné defending her NJPW Strong Women’s Championship. Moné speaks briefly and is about to leave when Jay stops her. Jay says when Moné makes a mistake, she will capitalize on it and shock the world by becoming TBS Champion.
We then get a video package on the history between Mariah May and Mina Shirakawa followed by the entrances of the main event of the night.
The match starts off with Mina Shirakawa delivering some right hands on Mariah May in the corner. May then gets in Shirakawa’s face, but Shirakawa trips her and cinches in a Figure Four Leg Lock on her. May then rolls out of the ring with the submission locked in on her as we see Thunder Rosa in the crowd holding a sign. Shirakawa then trips May on the apron and sends her leg bouncing off the ring post, then cinches in a Figure Four Leg Lock on her using the ring post and sends her leg bouncing off it again. May then delivers some right hands on Shirakawa’s head. Shirakawa then responds with a kick on May’s head and both women continue going back and forth before Shirakawa hits May with a spinning back fist and a reverse DDT. May then responds with a running knee on Shirakawa’s face, then follows it up with a May Day and goes for a pin. Shirakawa then kicks out and hits a Crucifix Bomb on May and flies off the apron to land on May. May then sends Shirakawa crashing into the mat for the win.
The winner and still the AEW Women’s World Champion, “The Glamour” Mariah May!
After the match, Toni Storm’s music hits and she makes her way down to the ring with her old gimmick. Storm stares down May from the entrance ramp as a shocked Rosa watches on and the show comes to a close.
