WWE is undergoing major changes as NXT prepares to transition from the USA Network to the CW Network later this year. To celebrate this move, the first two episodes on the CW will be held on the road, with special events scheduled in Chicago, Illinois, on October 1st, and St. Louis, Missouri, on October 8th.
WWE veteran Randy Orton confirmed that he will appear at the October 8th event in St. Louis, a city with personal significance to him. Orton expressed his excitement on Twitter, responding to Shawn Michaels’ announcement about the NXT road shows.
However, WWE has announced on its website that the event originally planned for the Enterprise Center in St. Louis has since been relocated to The Factory at The District in Chesterfield, Missouri.
The members of the WWE Universe, who had already purchased tickets for the St. Louis event can seek refunds or exchanges. Tickets for the relocated event in Chesterfield will go on sale on September 18th at 12 PM CT via Ticketmaster.
“The NXT event scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 8 at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis has been relocated to The Factory at The District in Chesterfield, Missouri. Refunds and exchanges are available at all original points of purchase. Tickets for the NXT event at The Factory at The District will go on sale next Wednesday, September 18 at 12 PM CT via Ticketmaster.”
Despite the location change for the highly anticipated NXT episode, the show’s move to the CW Network and the inclusion of major WWE stars like Randy Orton highlights WWE’s focus on expanding NXT’s reach and impact in the wrestling world. So we will have to wait and see if the fans will respond now that the location for the NXT show has been relocated.
