Adam Pearce, the General Manager of Monday Night RAW, strives to maintain order on the show. However, after the chaotic events at Money in the Bank this week, Pearce found himself involved in a brief scuffle. As a result, he has taken decisive action by indefinitely suspending Drew McIntyre for his actions.
In a thrilling match, Damian Priest defended his World Heavyweight Championship against Seth Rollins, with Drew McIntyre cashing in his briefcase to escalate it into a triple threat. In the midst of the bedlam, CM Punk stormed the ring, launching a vicious attack on McIntyre. Taking advantage of the chaos, Priest managed to recover and retain his title with a decisive finisher.
Following the event, just before the WWE Money in the Bank post-show conference, a furious Drew McIntyre reappeared at the pre-show panel area. In a fit of rage, he wreaked havoc, dismantling the entire set. WWE officials eventually subdued McIntyre, but not before he confronted RAW General Manager Adam Pearce and elbowed him amidst the turmoil. Wade Barrett had to intervene to prevent further escalation.
Adam Pearce promised to take action and that’s exactly what he did as he took to Twitter and confirmed that he has fined CM Punk and Drew McIntyre for their actions at Money in the Bank. He further added that Drew McIntyre is indefinitely suspended for elbowing him at the post show.
”As a result, I am hereby fining both CM Punk and Drew McIntyre for their actions. Due to putting his elbow squarely in my teeth, I am hereby suspending Drew McIntyre indefinitely. ”
We will have to wait and see whether Drew McIntyre will end up appearing on Monday Night RAW even if he has now been indefinitely suspended as a result of his actions, as it is clear he has pure hatred towards CM Punk.
