Status of Other TNA Talent Appearing for WWE NXT Battleground Revealed

WWE and TNA Wrestling have once more joined forces after previous collaborations that began in 2022 with Mickie James’ appearance in the Royal Rumble match. The TNA Knockouts Champion, Jordynne Grace, has recently appeared on NXT TV, which has sparked curiosity among fans for more appearances to be in store for the fans.

Jordynne made her NXT debut two weeks ago and was named the challenger for Roxanne Perez’s NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Battleground. On the other hand, among the names being discussed, popular TNA star Joe Hendry is a name rumored to be next in line for a crossover appearance.

In an earlier report, it was confirmed that Joe Hendry’s name has been mentioned within NXT, but there is no concrete indication that WWE is actively pursuing his signing. Now, in new update by Fightful Select, no other talent apart from Jordynne Grace has been heard to be in town for NXT Battleground. However, Joe Hendry has been a name floated around that the NXT talents have been hoping to work with.

“We had not heard of any other TNA talent than Jordynne Grace being in town for the event, but Joe Hendry is a name that has been spoken of as someone that NXT talent have been hoping to work with.”

While it has been speculated that Jordynne Grace’s appearances on NXT and the upcoming NXT Battleground event are just the beginning of ongoing WWE and TNA collaborations, It remains to be seen whether Joe Hendry will eventually make a surprise appearance on NXT television in the future.
