Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts has been associated with AEW since 2020. However, his absence from AEW television for an extended period left fans questioning his future with the company. Recently, his contractual status with AEW has been revealed.

Jake Roberts has been notably absent from AEW television for an extended period due to Lance Archer’s hiatus from competition in the company. Although Archer has returned to television, Roberts has remained active behind the scenes in AEW, contributing to the company in various capacities.

While speaking during a recent edition of Fightful’s Q&A Podcast, Sean Ross Sapp was asked about Jake Roberts’ contractual status with AEW. Ross noted that Roberts renewed his contract in recent months.

“Yes he is. He got renewed, I want to say he got renewed in recent months.”
