It sounds like there could be some intriguing surprises in store for fans at AEW Double or Nothing tonight, including the potential appearance of Gangrel, also known as The Vampire Warrior.

Initially slated for a WrestlingKult event in Germany, Gangrel’s advertised appearance was suddenly dropped from promotions. However, with AEW teasing a Brood version of Adam Copeland, formerly known as Edge, Gangrel’s potential appearance could add a nostalgic touch to the event.

Adam Copeland, who is set for a barbed wire steel cage match against Malakai Black, has been making references to his Brood days, including a bloodbath segment on Dynamite. In a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet, Adam Copeland revealed his desire to revive the Brood entrance for WWE Day 1 in 2022, with Gangrel joining him. Despite his efforts, WWE rejected the idea, but Edge believes in rewarding wrestling fans’ loyalty to nostalgia.

Adam Copeland’s talks with AEW started immediately after his WWE contract expired. While WWE didn’t support bringing back Gangrel, Adam Copeland continues to engage the audience through his work in AEW, keeping the possibility of Gangrel’s appearance open.

Another member of The Brood, Christian Cage, is also scheduled for a significant match at AEW Double or Nothing. He will go head-to-head with Swerve Strickland for the AEW Title in a match that has become deeply personal, with insults flying about Strickland’s personal life and career.

With the potential for Gangrel’s appearance and the heated matchups scheduled for tonight, AEW Double or Nothing promises to be an event to remember.
