GUNTHER already had a record-breaking Intercontinental Championship reign but that wasn’t enough as he became the King of The Ring winner as well today and in light of this, GUNTHER gave his first remarks.
During the King and Queen of The Ring Premium Live Event, fans witnessed an electrifying showdown between Randy Orton and GUNTHER in the finals of the King of The Ring tournament. The anticipation was palpable as both competitors left it all in the ring.
GUNTHER showcased his relentless aggression, delivering brutal chops that left Orton reeling. However, Orton, drawing upon his veteran instincts, countered GUNTHER’s onslaught with calculated precision. Ultimately, it was The Ring General who emerged victorious, much to the delight of the fans in attendance.
WWE took to their Instagram and uploaded a video of GUNTHER following his epic win, as The Ring General admitted the crown was pretty but he didn’t need it to know he was the best in WWE.
”Isn’t it pretty? But I didn’t need it to know I’m the best around here.”
GUNTHER will likely be challenging for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam, so we will have to wait and see if he will face off against Damian Priest or Drew McIntyre in the end.
