Countdown to WWE King and Queen of the Ring Kickoff Pre-Show (5/25/2024):

The Countdown to WWE King and Queen of the Ring Kickoff Pre-Show opens up with Michael Cole welcoming us. He is joined by Kayla Braxton, Wade Barrett, Corey Graves and Big E and they discuss the show. We then see Undisputed WWE Champion “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes, WWE United States Champion “The Maverick” Logan Paul, WWE Women’s World Champion “The Man” Becky Lynch, Liv Morgan and WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque arrive at the arena.

We then see the arrivals of Lyra Valkyria, “The Irresistible Force” Nia Jax, “The Ring General” GUNTHER and “The Viper” Randy Orton.

Michael Cole then asks Wade Barrett how does it feel to be the King of the Ring and we head to the back and see Byron Saxton outside of “The Ring General” GUNTHER’s locker room. We then see Kayla Braxton outside “The Viper” Randy Orton’s locker room.

We then see Corey Graves interview Undisputed WWE Champion “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes earlier this week. Corey starts off by asking Cody to explain the feeling of finishing the story at Wrestlemania 40. Cody says the feeling of finishing the story is what he wants to chase for the rest of his life. Cody then says finishing the story made him happy and made him cry. Cody then says it exceeded any expectations he had about that moment. Corey then asks what does it feel to be the face of WWE and Cody says it feels like he is more appreciative of the team around him than ever before. Cody is then asked about the commitment to the company and he talks about media appearances and teleconferences and how he feels okay doing it. Corey then asks if Cody has asked others for advice and Cody says he always talks to Randy and wants to follow what people like John Cena did, but in his way. Corey then asks about the state of the WWE and the industry and Cody says we are seeing new fans over the last three years whether it is children or people coming back. Cody then says it has never felt better and people talk about how great the Attitude Era is, but they want to prove how good things are. Cody then talks about achieving goals that the older generation cannot claim. Corey asks then Cody what advice he would give to a younger Cody and he says when you are not the number one on the call sheet and if you think you should be in the main event, you have to bet on yourself. Cody then says Stardust would never be in the main event and he felt that he was getting worse and had to get better. The panel then talks about Cody Rhodes and what he has been able to achieve in his return to WWE.

We then get a video package on WWE Hall of Famer Booker T’s classic King of the Ring win.

We then see WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions “The EST Of WWE” Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair walking in the back and Bryon Saxton asks them about today’s match. Jade says this is her first PPV match in Saudi Arabia. Bianca is then asked about her knee and she says it isn’t 100 percent. Bianca then says Candice started all of this and she was able to beat her before and they will do it again tonight.

We then get a video package on the Queen of the Ring tournament as well as on Lyra Valkyria.

We then see Kayla Braxton interview Lyra Valkyria about tonight’s match. Lyra says it is surreal as she was just in NXT last month thinking she had to regain her title, but now she is in the finals of the Queen of the Ring. Kayla then asks Lyra about Nia’s comments from last night and Lyra says she cannot wait to prove Nia wrong. Lyra also says she will be Queen of the Ring and she is going to go to SummerSlam. We then get a video package on “The Irresistible Force” Nia Jax.

We then head to the back, where Byron Saxton is interviewing WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque and he asks The Game about the Queen of the Ring and King of the Ring matches. Triple H says these are huge matches and the WWE Experience in Riyadh is amazing. Triple H then says the place was off the charts last night for Smackdown, but tonight is why everyone is here. Triple H then says it is not just a fancy title to call yourself as it is about cementing your legacy. Triple H then says the competition is massive and since Nia has been back in WWE, she has torn through everyone. Triple H then says Jax went toe to toe with Rhea and has gone through Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill to get here tonight. Triple H then says Jax has to beat Lyra tonight and Lyra defeated a former champion in IYO SKY to get here. Triple H then says Randy Orton came back from a potential career ending injury and can he solidify his legacy and show that he is back on top. Triple H then says Orton has to beat GUNTHER tonight and he has been like no one else in WWE. Triple H then says he will be on the edge of his seat watching this match.

We then see the arrivals of WWE Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, “Big” Bronson Reed and Alpha Academy’s Chad Gable and Otis. We then get a video package and a panel discussion on the WWE Intercontinental Championship Match. Wade Barrett and Big E picks Chad Gable to win, while Corey Graves picks Sami Zayn to retain and Michael Cole picks “Big” Bronson Reed to win.

We then see the arrivals of Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell. Kayla Braxton then takes over as the host of the Countdown to WWE King and Queen of the Ring Kickoff Pre-Show, while Kevin Owens replaces Corey Graves on the panel as Michael Cole and Corey Graves make their way to ringside to call the action. Wade Barrett then says we might not have had a King of the Ring finals tonight and Kevin Owens says he barely made it.

We then go to part two of Corey Graves’ interview with Undisputed WWE Champion “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes. Corey asks Cody about Logan Paul and Cody says he was thinking about something to say regarding Logan and he saw the definition of maverick. Cody then says that fits Logan with what he has done and Logan has been successful. Cody then says from a wrestling perspective Logan is more fundamentally sound than he has any right to. Corey then asks Cody about his personal opinion on Logan Paul and Cody says Logan has been too bold. Cody then says Logan has taken credit for WWE’s success. Cody then says knowing that Logan believes that, the best thing that can happen to him is see him slip on a banana peel and fall on his face and see what happens. Corey then asks Cody about the U.S. Title being pulled from the match and Cody says if you say you don’t want a title, you are lying. Cody then says he would love the U.S. title, but that can be something he achieves in the future. Corey then asks Cody about Logan’s right hand and Cody quotes JBL and says he would just duck. Cody then says he does not want to be off balance because it can all end with a right hand. Corey then asks Cody how it will all go down and Cody says Logan doesn’t stand a chance. Cody then says Logan is wonderful, but he is not on the level Cody is on.

Kevin Owens then discusses Logan Paul’s match with Cody Rhodes and Owens takes a shot at PRIME as a dig to Logan Paul.

We then head to the back, where Byron Saxton is interviewing Liv Morgan. Saxton asks Morgan about the revenge tour and Morgan says she has never felt better in her whole life. Morgan then says she can finally complete the revenge tour and take what Rhea loves the most. Byron then asks Morgan about dealing with Becky and Morgan says Becky has never faced this version of herself before. Morgan then asks a person off-camera why they are there and The Judgment Day’s “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio then shows up and says she knows why he is there. Mysterio then says he flew to Saudi Arabia to make sure that Liv doesn’t get her hands on Mami’s title. We then get a video package on the WWE Women’s World Championship Match.

We then get a video package of WWE Hall of Famer “Stone Cold” Steve Austin winning the 1996 King of the Ring and how we got to the finals of the 2024 King of the Ring tournament.

Kevin Owens then discusses his return on WWE SmackDown last night and says he is there to make sure that The Bloodline does not get involved in Randy Orton’s match. We then see Kayla Braxton’s interview with Randy Orton from earlier this week. Randy says it is surreal to be here. Randy also says you never get used to how beautiful it is, then he talks about the fans. Kayla then asks about the fans in France singing his entrance music and Randy says for the first time in almost 16 years with that song they sang it. Randy then says he is beaten up, but this is for a prize he has never won before. Kayla then asks about GUNTHER and Randy says he has a list of guys he wanted to wrestle and GUNTHER might not be on the top of the list, but he is one of a kind. Randy then says it will be hard hitting and might be the toughest match he has had since his return. Randy then says this will show how much his body can take. Randy then says he has never seen so much in one person before.

We then get the entrances of the pre-show match, which is a WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: “The EST Of WWE” Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill (c) vs. Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell

The match starts off with Cargill and Hartwell. Cargill hits Hartwell with a fallaway slam, then follows it up with a shoulder tackle. Cargill and Belair then double team Hartwell. LeRae then tags in and squares off with Belair. Belair then slams LeRae and overpowers her. Belair then presses LeRae over her head, but Belair’s knee gives out. LeRae and Hartwell then target Belair’s knee and ground her. Hartwell then wrenches Belair’s leg in the ropes. LeRae then maintains the upper hand as she and Hartwell isolate Belair and continue to attack her leg. Hartwell then stops Belair from tagging Cargill in, but eventually she makes it to Cargill. Cargill then clears house with a flurry of offense. LeRae and Hartwell then take control again, but Belair tags back in and rallies. Cargill and Belair then double team LeRae and hits LeRae with a DDT/suplex combination for the win.

We then head to the back, where Byron Saxton is interviewing WWE United States Champion “The Maverick” Logan Paul. Byron asks Paul about Smackdown and what Cody Rhodes said. Paul says there is no controversy surrounding him and he was in the ring with Floyd Mayweather, but everyone still doubts him. Paul then says this is his third title match in Saudi Arabia and he is going to leave with two titles tonight. Paul then says he will show why he belongs in the WWE and why he belongs on top.

We then get the final panel discussion and the Countdown to WWE King and Queen of the ring comes to a close.

WWE King and Queen of the Ring Results (5/25/2024):

The WWE King and Queen of the Ring PLE opens up with a video package and we are then welcomed to the show by Michael Cole and Corey Graves.

We then get the entrances of the first match of the PLE, which is the WWE Women’s World Championship Match.

WWE Women’s World Championship Match: “The Man” Becky Lynch (c) vs. Liv Morgan

The match starts off with Morgan shoving Lynch, but Lynch returns the favor and both women take turns in shoving each other. Lynch then nails Morgan with a boot and the action spills out of the ring. Lynch then sends Morgan crashing into the ring apron face first two times before both women get back inside the ring. Lynch then places Morgan through the middle rope. Lynch then climbs to the middle rope, but Morgan pulls her down. Morgan then delivers some boots on Lynch’s midsection, then charges at her. Lynch then moves out of the way, but Morgan still nails her with a clothesline. Morgan then hits Lynch with a dropkick to her spine.

Lynch then hits Morgan with a kick, then climbs to the middle rope. Morgan then trips Lynch and sends her crashing face first into the top turnbuckle. Morgan then wears Lynch down with a submission hold, but Lynch responds with a right hand. Morgan then blasts Lynch with a right hand and both women exchange strikes. Both women then hit each other with a couple of clotheslines and a kick. Lynch then hits Morgan with a Fallaway Slam, then follows it up with a baseball dropkick on the outside through the bottom rope. Lynch then nails Morgan with a right hand off the apron, then sends Morgan back in the ring and climbs to the top. Morgan then trips Lynch and joins her on the top rope, but Lynch pushes Morgan off and hits her with a missile dropkick. Morgan then hits Lynch with a springboard codebreaker off the ropes and Lynch climbs to the top. Lynch then looks to fly, but Morgan moves out of the way. Morgan then hits Lynch with a missile dropkick off the top rope, then looks to nail her Oblivion finisher. Lynch then counters and sends Morgan into the mat.

Morgan then rolls Lynch up, but Lynch reverses the fall. Morgan then kicks out and hits Lynch with an enzuigiri before both women exchange some strikes. Lynch then locks Morgan in a cross arm breaker, but Morgan transitions it into a submission of her own. Lynch then escapes and locks Morgan in the Dis-Arm-Her. Dominik Mysterio then appears at ringside as Morgan gets her boot on the bottom rope to break the hold. Lynch then goes for the Man Handle Slam, but Morgan counters it into a codebreaker and notices Dominik at ringside. Morgan then climbs to the top, but Lynch joins her up there and hits her with a superplex. Dominik then slides a chair in the ring for Lynch, then distracts the referee. Morgan then takes advantage of the distraction and hits Lynch with a DDT on top of the chair, then disposes of it and hits Lynch with the Oblivion for the win.

After the match, Liv Morgan celebrates her huge win and Dominik Mysterio looks frustrated with what just happened.

We then get the entrances of the next match, which is a WWE Intercontinental Championship Triple Threat Match.

WWE Intercontinental Championship Triple Threat Match: Sami Zayn (c) vs. Alpha Academy’s Chad Gable vs. “Big” Bronson Reed

The match starts off with Zayn not wasting any time in nailing Gable with some right hands. Reed then hits Zayn with a clothesline in the corner, but Gable follows it up with a a number of chops on Reed. Reed then lifts Gable above his head, but Gable escapes. The action then spills to the outside and Zayn jumps over the top rope and hits a crossbody on Reed. Gable then blindsides Zayn from behind and sends him back in the ring. Zayn then delivers some right hands on Gable in the corner, but Reed blasts him and sends him in the corner. Zayn then hits Reed with a back elbow and looks to fly, but Reed catches him and chokeslams him on top of Gable. Zayn then hits Gable with a back elbow, but Gable sends Zayn into the ring apron and delivers some right hands on him. Gable then climbs to the top and hits Reed with a missile dropkick.

Zayn then sends both Gable and Reed out of the ring, then flies over the top rope to land on them. Zayn and Reed then teeter on the top rope, but Reed gets Zayn on his shoulders. Zayn then counters it into a powerbomb and goes for a pin, but Reed kicks out. Reed then sits Zayn on the top rope, but Gable takes him down and goes for a superplex on Zayn. Reed then pulls both men down and climbs to the top, then looks to fly. Zayn then rolls out of the ring and Gable hits Reed with a moonsault. Zayn then hits Reed with a series of overhand chops, then follows it up with a Tornado DDT. Zayn then goes for a pin, but Gable breaks the fall by putting him in an Ankle Lock. Reed then looks to break the hold, but Gable counters it into an Ankle Lock on him. Zayn then puts Gable in an Ankle Lock, but relinquishes the hold to hit Reed with a Blue Thunder Bomb.

Reed then gets both Zayn and Gable up on his shoulders, then hits them with a Fallaway Slam. Reed then hits both men with a tope suicida on the outside, then sends Zayn back inside the ring. Zayn then goes for the Helluva Kick on Reed, but Gable intercepts him and nails him with a couple of German suplexes. Gable then looks to hit a third one, but Zayn fights his way out with a back elbow and hits Gable with two German suplexes of his own. Reed then goes for a double German suplex on Zayn and Gable, but Gable escapes and hits Zayn and Reed with a double German suplex of his own. Otis then hits Reed on the outside with a clothesline and Gable sends Zayn out of the ring. Gable then orders Otis to attack Zayn, but Otis hesitates. Gable then jumps out of the ring and holds Zayn in place for Otis to attack him, but Otis still can’t bring himself to do so. Gable then shoves Otis and gets in his face, then slaps him. Gable then gets Zayn up and holds him in place once again. Otis then looks to clothesline Zayn, but Zayn ducks out of the way and Otis clotheslines Gable instead. Zayn then hits Reed with the Helluva Kick for the win.

After the match, Gable gets in Otis’ face and jaw jacks with him.

We then head to the back, where Byron Saxton is interviewing WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions “The EST Of WWE” Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill. They talk about their win from earlier in the show and Belair says that they had something to prove, which they did. Cargill then makes it clear that they are ready to defend the titles against any and all challengers.

WWE Tag Team Champions Austin Theory and Grayson Waller, #DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa) and The Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins), along with B-Fab are then shown in the crowd.

We then get then entrances of the next match, which is the WWE Queen of the Ring Tournament Finals Match.

WWE Queen of the Ring Tournament Finals Match: Lyra Valkyria vs. “The Irresistible Force” Nia Jax

The match starts off with Valkyria trying to overpower Jax and take her down, but Jax manages to stay on her feet. Valkyria then puts Jax in a Sleeper, but Jax breaks the hold by sending Valkyria crashing into the corner. Valkyria then sends Jax out of the ring and follows it up with a dropkick through the middle rope. Jax then sends Valkyria crashing into the ring apron spine first, then sends her back inside the ring. Valkyria then looks for a Tornado DDT, but Jax avoids it. Jax then hits Valkyria with an elbow drop and goes for a pin, but Valkyria kicks out. Jax then sends Valkyria into the corner, then places her boot into Valkyria’s neck. Jax then sends Valkyria crashing into the corner spine first, then hits Valkyria with a boot to her midsection. Valkyria then hits Jax with back elbows, but Jax sends Valkyria crashing into the mat. Valkyria then hits Jax with a jawbreaker, then follows it up with an enzuigiri. Jax then hits Valkyria with a Samoan Drop, then goes for the An-Nia-Lator. Valkyria then tries to avoid it by making her way to the apron, but Jax still tries to hit it.

Valkyria then moves out of the way and dropkicks Jax to the outside. Valkyria then goes for another dropkick through the middle rope, but Jax catches her. Valkyria then hits Jax with a bulldog and sends Jax back inside the ring. Valkyria then climbs to the top and hits Jax with a missile dropkick, then follows it up with a Tornado DDT and goes for a pin. Jax then kicks out and hits Valkyria with another Samoan Drop. Jax then drags Valkyria into a corner and goes for the An-Nia-Lator, but Valkyria trips Jax and hits her with a double stomp in the corner.Valkyria then climbs to the top and hits Jax with a leg drop, then goes for a pin. Jax then kicks out and hits Valkyria with a splash to her back in the corner, then gets her up on her shoulders and climbs to the middle rope. Valkyria then escapes and looks to hit Jax with a powerbomb, but Jax hangs on. Jax then hits Valkyria with the An-Nia-Lator for the win.

After the match, WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque makes his way down to the ring and presents Nia Jax with the Queen of the Ring crown. Triple H then puts the crown on Jax’s head and Kayla Braxton interviews Jax. Jax says she knows that the fans aren’t happy, but she is. Jax then says she is going to get even happier as she will become the champion at WWE SummerSlam.

We then head to the back, where “The Man” Becky Lynch can be seen angrily talking to Dominik Mysterio. Byron Saxton then asks Lynch about her loss and she says she is going to get her rematch on RAW this Monday.

Tiffany Stratton and Carmelo Hayes are then shown in the crowd.

We then get the entrances of the next match, which is a WWE King of the Ring Tournament Finals Match.

WWE King of the Ring Tournament Finals Match: Imperium’s “The Ring General” GUNTHER vs. “The Viper” Randy Orton

The match starts off with both GUNTHER and Orton staring each other down. Both men then lock up and take turns putting each other in submission holds before Orton hits GUNTHER with a shoulder tackle. GUNTHER then responds with a chop on Orton in the corner, then delivers several more chops on Orton andOrton becomes furious. Orton then catches one of the chops and nails GUNTHER with strikes, then delivers some right hands on GUNTHER in the corner. Orton then goes for an RKO, but GUNTHER moves out of the way and nails Orton with a stomp on his spine. GUNTHER then hits Orton with a second stomp and a forearm to Orton’s spine. Orton then delivers some right hands on GUNTHER, but GUNTHER sends Orton crashing into the mat and hits Orton with a number of stomps. GUNTHER then nails Orton with a number of shots on his spine, then puts Orton in a half Abdominal Stretch. Orton then powers up to his feet, but GUNTHER continues wearing Orton down with another submission.

GUNTHER then hits Orton with a backbreaker, then follows it up with a bodyslam. Orton then hits GUNTHER with a suplex, but GUNTHER responds with a chop. Orton then hits GUNTHER with a couple of clotheslines, but GUNTHER nails Orton with one of his own and goes for a pin. Orton then kicks out and hits GUNTHER with a powerslam, then follows it up with a draping DDT. GUNTHER then hits Orton with a bodyslam, then follows it up with a splash. Orton then hits GUNTHER with an RKO, then goes for a pin. GUNTHER then rolls out of the ring and Orton follows him. Orton then suplexes GUNTHER on top of the English announce desk three times. Orton then sends GUNTHER back inside the ring and GUNTHER hits Orton with a dropkick on his injured knee from last night’s SmackDown. GUNTHER then sends Orton’s knee into the mat, then puts Orton in a Half Boston Crab. Orton then hits GUNTHER with an RKO and goes for a pin, but GUNTHER counters into a pin of his own for the win.

After the match, WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque presents “The Ring General” GUNTHER with the King of the Ring crown. Byron Saxton then interviews GUNTHER and he says it felt great to beat Orton. GUNTHER then says the Apex Predator became his prey. GUNTHER then says he is going to become the World Heavyweight Champion at SummerSlam.

WWE Crown Jewel is then announced for November 2.

We then head to the back, where Kayla Braxton is interviewing WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque. Triple H congratulates Liv Morgan, Nia Jax and GUNTHER on their wins. Triple H then announces that Drew McIntyre has been cleared to compete and he McIntyre will challenge Damian Priest for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Clash at the Castle.

Piper Niven, Chelsea Green and LA Knight are then shown in the crowd.

Ibrahim Al Hajjaj is then introduced as the special ring announcer for the main event and we get the entrances of the Undisputed WWE Championship Match.

Undisputed WWE Championship Match: “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes (c) vs. WWE United States Champion “The Maverick” Logan Paul

The match starts off with both men going back and forth before Rhodes looks to nail Paul with a slap. Paul then stops it and sends Rhodes’ arm into the mat, then puts Rhodes in a vertical suplex position. Paul then sends Rhodes crashing into the mat face first. Rhodes then looks to nail Paul, but Paul moves out of the way and Rhodes is sent crashing into the mat and to the outside. Paul then jumps over the top rope to land on Rhodes, then points out that he has no brass knuckles nor does he need them. Paul then sends Rhodes back inside the ring and nails him with a series of right and left hands to his midsection. Paul then sends Rhodes crashing into the mat face first once again.

Paul then sends Rhodes into the mat once again, then delivers some right hands on Rhodes. Paul then hits Rhodes with a moonsault and both men teeter on the ropes. Paul then sends Rhodes crashing into the mat, but Rhodes joins Paul on the top and nails him with an arm drag. Rhodes then nails Paul with a couple of right hands, but Paul puts Rhodes in an Octopus. Rhodes then escapes and sends Paul crashing onto the apron. Rhodes then hits Paul with a Disaster Kick and that sends Paul crashing to the outside. Rhodes then looks to fly, but Paul moves out of the way and Rhodes stops himself before he crashes into the floor. Rhodes then sends Paul crashing into the barricade spine first twice and Paul takes a PRIME Hydration Drink break. Rhodes then grabs the bottle from Paul. A fan then touches Rhodes and drags Rhodes into the ring side area. A second fan then hands Paul a pair of brass knuckles. Rhodes then looks to fly off the ring steps, but Paul nails Rhodes with a right hand to his midsection using the brass knuckles. Paul then gets in Michael Cole’s face about using the brass knuckles and Corey Graves holds him back. Rhodes then hits Paul with a tope suicida, then sends his face bouncing off the English announce desk twice.

Both men then get back inside the ring and Rhodes hits Paul with a powerslam. Rhodes then goes for the Disaster Kick, but Paul avoids it. Rhodes then hits Paul with the Bionic Elbow, then puts Paul in a Figure Four Leg Lock. Paul then makes his way over to the bottom rope to break the hold and looks to fly into the ring from the apron. Rhodes then moves out of the way and hits Paul with a Cody Cutter, then goes for a pin but Paul kicks out. Rhodes then gets Paul up, but Paul escapes and hits Rhodes with the Cross-Rhodes. Paul then goes for a pin, but Rhodes kicks out. Paul then climbs to the top and looks for a splash, but Rhodes moves out of the way and hits Paul with a twisted vertical suplex. Rhodes then goes for the Cross-Rhodes, but Paul escapes and sends Rhodes crashing into the corner. Paul then hits Rhodes with his shoulders on Rhodes’ midsection a few times, then sends him crashing to the outside.

Paul then sends Rhodes bouncing off the Arabic and English announce desks face first, then clears the English announce desk. Paul then gets Rhodes on top of the English announce desk and joins him, then goes for a Pedigree. Rhodes then escapes and hits Paul with the Cody Cutter on top of the announce desk from the barricade. Rhodes then rolls back in the ring as the referee begins a ten count. The referee almost counts to ten, but Rhodes stops him from doing so as he does not want to win via count out. Rhodes then heads back out of the ring and clears the Arabic announce desk, but Paul nails Rhodes with a right hand. Paul then places Rhodes on top of the desk and takes another PRIME Hydration Drink break, then climbs to the top rope. Paul then hits Rhodes with a Frog Splash through the Arabic announce desk. Paul then gets Rhodes back inside the ring and hits him with a second Frog Splash, then goes for a pin. Rhodes then kicks out and Paul almost sends Rhodes crashing into the referee. Paul then goes for a splash on Rhodes in the corner, but accidentally hits the referee. Rhodes then hits Paul with the Vertebreaker and goes to pin him, but the referee is still down. Paul then low blows Rhodes and grabs the brass knuckles from his pocket, but before he can use them, Ibrahim Al Hajjaj grabs Paul’s ankle to prevent him from doing so. Paul then knocks him to the floor and looks to hit Rhodes with a right hand using the brass knuckles. Rhodes then catches it and hits Paul with three Cross-Rhodes for the win.

The winner and still the Undisputed WWE Champion, “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes!

After the match, Cody Rhodes celebrates his win. Rhodes then shakes the hands of Ibrahim Al Hajjaj and hugs him. Rhodes then continues to celebrate his win with the WWE Universe and the show comes to a close.
