MVP, known for his two notable runs with WWE, has not appeared regularly on WWE television for some time now. While taking a break from his usual on-screen activities, MVP revealed that he will be undergoing stem cell therapy to address his nagging injuries.

MVP had a rough upbringing and grew up fending for himself on numerous occasions. In fact, he spent several years in jail and MVP has always acknowledged how it changed him.

The former United States Champion took to his Instagram and uploaded a video, revealing how he finished a workout before noting he will be undergoing stem cell therapy for his injured shoulder and other injuries, admitting he is banged up.

MVP then further added that he has no intention of retiring just yet so that he can still compete in a few more matches before hanging up his professional wrestling boots for good.

”Two weeks out from going to Mexico to get my stem cell therapy. I’m looking really forward to that because my shoulder, my knee, I’m pretty beat up real bad. I haven’t officially retired yet. Feel like I need a few more matches before I hang up the boots.”

While MVP’s appearances on television have become less frequent, his protégé, Omos, continues to make a mark at WWE Live Events. Regardless, we will have to wait and see when MVP will make his in-ring return so that he can still compete in a few more matches.
