A new report has shed light on the details of the Undisputed WWE Championship Match at WWE King & Queen of the Ring.

On the May 10 edition of SmackDown, General Manager Nick Aldis announced that United States Champion Logan Paul will challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship on Saturday, May 25, at WWE King & Queen of the Ring.

After a heated promo exchange between the two champions, there was speculation that their upcoming title bout might be for both of their individual championships. However, ahead of tonight’s May 17 episode of SmackDown, WrestleVotes clarified that the match between Cody Rhodes and Logan Paul will only be for the Undisputed WWE Championship. WrestleVotes tweeted:

“Tonight’s #SmackDown from Jacksonville: Tiffany v Bianca Belair is on the rundown as of now. Logan Paul gets his match v Cody Rhodes in Saudi for the WWE title ONLY & Orton vows war against the Bloodline.”

This clarification confirms that while both champions will be competing, the United States Championship will not be on the line.

Additionally, the report confirms that Tiffany Stratton vs. Bianca Belair in the Queen of the Ring Tournament Quarterfinals is still scheduled for tonight’s show.

Also announced for tonight’s episode of SmackDown, Randy Orton will face Carmelo Hayes, and LA Knight will go one-on-one with Tama Tonga in the King of the Ring Quarterfinals.
