Since departing from WWE in April 2024, former WWE star Cameron Grimes has hinted at a potential debut in AEW.

After spending nearly five years with WWE, Cameron Grimes, also known as Trevor Lee, parted ways with the company. Despite being in the non-compete phase, Grimes has remained tight-lipped about his future in professional wrestling.

During the May 15 episode of AEW Dynamite, The Young Bucks emerged victorious in an eliminator match against Christopher Daniels and Matt Sydal. Following the match, Matthew and Nicholas Jackson shockingly fired Daniels for his actions in the previous week.

On May 16, Matt Sydal took to social media to express his dismay over the firing of Christopher Daniels, urging AEW to bring back his tag partner. In response, Cameron Grimes teased potential AEW debut by hinting at a possible partnership with the former WWE star by suggesting himself as a tag partner:

“So what you’re saying is you need a tag partner?”

As anticipation builds, the stage is set for potential new alliances and rivalries in the world of AEW. Fans eagerly await any developments leading up to Double Or Nothing 2024, where alliances may be solidified and new chapters in the wrestling landscape may unfold.

What are your thoughts on Cameron Grimes potentially joining AEW and forming a tag team with Matt Sydal? How do you think this new alliance could impact the tag team division in AEW? Share your predictions and excitement for the future of AEW in the comment section below!
