Tony Khan fell victim to an attack by The Elite last month, which resulted in him wearing a neck brace during the NFL Draft and afterwards as well. Surprisingly enough, Tony Khan doesn’t want to take revenge on The Elite himself.

Tony Khan wore a neck brace and maintained kayfabe when asked about his condition following the storyline attack by The Elite on AEW Dynamite. As part of the ongoing storyline, Khan is not medically cleared to travel due to his injury, resulting in The Young Bucks taking over running the show until his return. The Elite would then brutally attack Kenny Omega on last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite as well.

During an interview with Rick Ucchino and Tony Pike on Cincy 360, Tony Khan discussed the prospect of seeking revenge against The Elite in the ring. Khan, still recovering from a storyline attack, shared his thoughts on the matter by stating that he won’t take revenge on The Elite as he isn’t an in-ring competitor, but is sure there are others who would be happy to do it for him.

“AEW is where the best wrestle. We mean that. That’s why I want to make sure the fans get the best matches and the best action. In this case, I’m not the best person to pay those people back,”

“There are a lot of things I’m good at behind the scenes, but somebody else is going to have to go avenge what those guys did to not only me, but to Kenny Omega.”

“I’m quite sure there are more capable wrestlers than I am who can inflict some of that punishment on the Young Bucks, Jack Perry, and Okada.”

“I want to have great matches in AEW. After what happened to me last time, I don’t think I would be making a smart move.”

Kenny Omega is set to make an important announcement on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, so we will have to wait and see whether The Elite will try to interfere again during the segment.
