The heated rivalry between the veteran Chris Jericho and the rising upstart, HOOK is about to take an interesting turn as the former FTW Champion is set to return as announced on tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite.

Tensions began when HOOK rejected Chris Jericho’s advances of becoming his official mentor and taking him under his ‘Learning Tree.’ Following that, Jericho taught him things the hard way by beating him and knocking him out with a baseball bat to snatch the FTW Championship from him at AEW Dynasty.

In HOOK’s absence, Big Bill joined The Learning Tree as Jericho’s prodigy with both men displaying excellent commaradery on tonight’s episode of Dynamite. The duo emerged successful in their scheduled tag team match against Mo Jabari and Harlon Abbott.

Right after, Jericho praised Big Bill’s performance as the crowd chanted against him for messing up a spot, and he clarified that The Learning Tree was all about learning from mistakes and growing. He also mentioned HOOK, hoping to see him soon after his loss at AEW Dynasty.
