Last month, WWE genuinely surprised the wrestling community by releasing several prominent stars, including Xyon Quinn, Xia Li, Jinder MahalVon Wagner and Cameron Grimes. Things didn’t stop there as WWE released even more talent last week and now one of the talent have broken their silence on the matter.

WWE conducted round of NXT releases last Friday, and among the 10 individuals released from their contracts was Olympic Gold Medalist Gable Steveson. One of the most notable names to depart was Valentina Feroz, who had been featured on the brand since 2020.

Feroz’s final match took place during the December 5 NXT Level Up tapings, where she emerged victorious against Amari Miller. In light of her departure, Feroz shared a reflective message on Instagram, where she essentially expressed her gratitude to the fans and her WWE colleagues who supported her throughout her journey.

”With immense gratitude, I express my sincere thanks to everyone who has been part of my journey in WWE. From teammates to loyal fans, each of you has contributed to shaping my career in unforgettable ways.

Thank you for all the opportunities granted to me over the years. Every challenge and victory has been experiences that have shaped who I am today. As I depart from the company, I carry with me precious memories and valuable lessons.

While my time in WWE has come to an end, I recognize that this does not mark the end of my journey. The doors are open to the next chapter of my life, and I am eager to explore new horizons and challenges.

I am grateful to all who have supported and followed my career thus far. You are the reason I continue to strive and believe in myself. I can’t wait to share with you what the future holds.

With gratitude and optimism,
Valentina feroz 👊🏻”

We have also reported the reason behind the latest slew of WWE cuts, which is simply the fact that WWE didn’t see potential in them. The release of wrestlers is always a difficult part of the industry, but hopefully, each of those let go will find new homes somewhere down the line.
