WWE released a number of superstars from their contracts in the past few weeks. From releases to omitting a re-signing following contract expiration, there have been different reasons due to which these measures have been taken by the company amid massive success.

Among the numerous names released, Smackdown Superstar Cameron Grimes, now known as Trevor Lee, was also involved. The star announced his release on social media himself in an emotional video thanking everyone he was involved with throughout his journey. However, the star assured that his wrestling career was not over.

Days after his release, Elevation Pro Wrestling announced on their social media handles that Trevor Lee (formerly known as Cameron Grimes) was set to make an appearance at their Homecoming event in North Carolina on July 27. This return is dubbed to be Lee’s homecoming and is expected to be the promotion he joins following his release.

Lee earlier revealed that the United States Champion Logan Paul was among the first ones to contact him following release. The former WWE superstar is motivated to continue grinding in the squared circle and making it back to WWE soon.
