WWE WrestleMania 40 Sunday featured Cody Rhodes dethroning Roman Reigns as the Undisputed Universal Champion. Clearly, not one to rest on his laurels, Rhodes seems to have outworked every single male star in WWE this year so far.

Since his switch from Raw to SmackDown, Rhodes has established himself as the brand’s top star, especially as Reigns takes a break. He is set to defend his title against AJ Styles at the upcoming Backlash France event, marking his first televised title defense since his move to SmackDown.

According to CageMatch.net, Cody Rhodes has the most matches among male WWE wrestlers, having competed in 40 bouts, and holding an impressive 38-2 record. On the women’s side, Kairi Sane leads with the most matches, with 32 bouts, though her record stands at 7-24-1.

The American Nightmare never fails to compete at every single live event and stay long after the shows end to interact with fans, so his outworking every male WWE Superstar so far is certainly nothing unexpected. We’ll have to see whether he will retain his top position by the end of the year.
