The 2024 WWE Draft is officially in the books and the new rosters will come into effect right after Backlash 2024. While many NXT stars got an opportunity to shine on the main roster, most of the stars were retained by their respective brands. No tag teams were broken up and excitement was dead for a major part of it.

Bianca Belair turned out to be the first overall pick in the WWE Draft while Jey Uso turned out to be the first one for Monday Night Raw. A few stars like Roman Reigns withdrew or were not featured during the Draft, leaving a lot of doors open.

While the new rosters look stacked, it doesn’t seem to have changed a lot. The Undertaker, reviewed the Draft this year, and revealed how underwhelming it turned out to become. Not a lot of changes were seen in the rosters of both Raw and Smackdown except for some NXT stars who got an opportunity of their lifetime.

“You know what it missed for me? I want to see some deals made right. You know what I’m saying? Like a lot of teams, they want a quarterback. They trade up or they trade down.”

“You know, that would to me be more compelling to watch. You’re expecting your fan base to watch two nights of TV content. And I mean, to be completely honest, there wasn’t a whole lot of change really.”

Not only did the Undertaker, but millions around the world found this year’s edition a bit unnecessary. Ringside News will update you with this story.
