Gunther’s reign as the WWE Intercontinental Champion, which began in June 2022, was remarkable, making history as the longest-reigning Intercontinental Champion ever. Gunther’s reign came to an end at WrestleMania 40 on Saturday and now his first television appearance has been confirmed.

Under Chad Gable’s mentorship, Sami Zayn faced Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 40 on Saturday. Although Gunther displayed dominance throughout the match, Zayn’s determination prevailed. He unleashed a series of powerful Helluva Kicks, securing the victory and ending Gunther’s reign as Intercontinental Champion.

The Ring General took to his Twitter and confirmed that he will be appearing on the April 22nd edition of Monday Night RAW, in his first appearance since WrestleMania 40.

Gunther has already competed in his first match since his WrestleMania 40 loss. We will have to wait and see what The Ring General will be doing on the upcoming episode of Monday Night RAW.
