The WWE tag team division has witnessed a significant shift with the company ushering into the ‘Paul Levesque’ era last week and the change being indicated months ago became inevitable following WrestleMania 40.

During last week’s WrestleMania, the era of the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships came to its conclusion in the 6-Pack tag team ladder match. The RAW tag team titles were captured by Miz & R-Truth collectively known as The Awesome Truth, while those from SmackDown were secured by Austin Theory and Grayson Waller.

On tonight’s edition of Monday Night RAW, taking place in the Bell Center in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque himself came out to bring about that change alongside General Manager Adam Pearce with a new set of titles covered and kept inside the ring on a podium. The Game and Pearce address the situation in the tag team division and bring out the champions of RAW, Miz, and R-Truth.

As the crowd erupted in loud chants for The Awesome Truth, Triple H congratulated the duo on their WrestleMania triumph while announcing that moving forward, they would be known as the WWE World Tag Team Champions, unveiling the new gold belts for them.

As the audience looked in awe witnessing the new titles, R-Truth went straight to his comedic antics with Triple H as The Miz tried to explain to him the situation finally and succeeded as The Game exited the ring after handing over the new titles Miz and Truth, while Adam Pearce announced a triple threat match to determine their first challengers.
