For months, Tama Tonga has been rumored to make his debut in WWE, following an impressive run in NJPW. However, every week has passed by with the WWE universe expecting an appearance from the former NJPW star. The wait ended on the 4/12 episode of WWE Smackdown

During the show, the Bloodline made an appearance for the first time since Roman Reigns’ loss to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40. In a shocking turn of events, Tama Tonga attacked Jimmy uso and Solo Sikoa then aligned with him to punish the star for his loss against Jey Uso at WrestleMania.

Following the attack, Tonga made it clear that he was a part of the Bloodline. A new report from Fightful Select has provided details on the star’s status with the company. The update states that there were plans to align Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga together. After announcing to be a part of the Bloodline, it won’t be surprising if Tama Tonga and Solo Sikoa bing Jacob Fatu to the faction as well.

“Tama Tonga has been eyed for WWE for quite some time, and is now inserted in one of the top storylines in the company. Solo Sikoa introduced him into the Bloodline, kicking Jimmy Uso out. Tonga’s official WWE debut was a long time coming, and one that has been expected over the last few months…We haven’t heard of any talks between Tama Tonga and AEW as of yet, and we’re told it was a foregone conclusion that he was headed to WWE, and has always maintained a positive relationship with the company.”
