Thunder Rosa Vows to Win Back AEW Women’s Title After 4/10 Dynamite

Thunder Rosa has made it clear that disrespect only fuels her strength, as she sent a stern message to Toni Storm ahead of their title match at AEW Dynasty following this week’s episode of Dynamite. Rosa’s confident attitude suggests she is determined to prove herself in the upcoming match, using any negativity from her opponent as motivation to come out on top.

Former AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa is set to challenge reigning champion Toni Storm for the title at AEW Dynasty. During the April 10th episode of AEW Dynamite, Storm escalated tensions by throwing champagne in Rosa’s face, attacking her, and wiping off some of her face paint.

In a digital exclusive message to Toni Storm, Thunder Rosa confronted her adversary directly. Rosa questioned Storm’s intentions, suggesting that Storm’s actions were attempts to embarrass, disrespect, and harass her. Rosa confidently stated that such tactics only make her stronger, emphasizing her experience and resilience in the wrestling business.

Rosa pointed out that Storm’s actions may stem from fear, implying that Storm is threatened by Rosa’s presence. She asserted her determination to reclaim the title at AEW Dynasty, whether she wears face paint or not. Rosa’s message left no doubt about her readiness and resolve heading into the title match.

“Antonia, you tried to embarrass me? You tried to disrespect me? Did you try to harass me? What do you think that this is, my first time? I’ve been in the business long enough to know that when somebody’s talking all this crap and is doing all these idiotic things, it’s because you live rent-free in their mind. You cannot disrespect me. Because that only makes me stronger. How do you think I earned the title two years ago? How do you think I was able to keep it? At Dynasty, it’s not gonna be any different. I am going to get it back. Antonia, I have a question for you. Why did you do this? Are you afraid? Well, if you’re afraid of the Thunder Rosa with face paint [wipes the paint off], you should be more afraid of the one that doesn’t.”

We will have to wait and see whether La Mera Mera will be able to topple Toni Storm and finally win back the AEW Women’s Championship, something that she had never lost to begin with.
