In the midst of an exciting week in wrestling, AEW guaranteed a thrilling episode of Dynamite on April 10. Enthusiasm skyrocketed globally, primarily driven by the announcement that The Young Bucks would reveal backstage footage from the All-In event.

During All In, Perry’s match featured a stunt involving a car windshield, where he made a comment to the camera about “real glass” by saying, “Real glass, cry me a river.” This led to a physical altercation. The incident with Punk occurred after Punk had advised Perry against using real glass for a segment on TV. As a result of the confrontation, Perry was suspended and Punk was released. The footage on AEW Dynamite this week proved that CM Punk was the aggressor.

Since his departure from AEW, Perry has been participating in New Japan Pro Wrestling, showcasing his “Scapegoat” persona. Khan holds Perry responsible for forcing him to release Punk due to the incident, which is believed to be the reason Perry has not been featured on AEW since.

With that said, Jack Perry is a top merchandise seller with his ‘Scapegoat’ t-shirt as it has officially been sold out in light of the AEW All In footage being shown on AEW Dynamite.

In fact, CM Punk’s WWE return also scrapped plans for Jack Perry. Only time will tell whether Jack Perry will ever make his way back to AEW, as that might still happen at AEW Dynasty.
