The first edition of WWE NXT after the monumental WrestleMania 40 proved to be one of the most spectacular shows in the history of the black and gold brand with multiple matches announced for the show scheduled to take place next week.

NXT star Ridge Holland has seemingly found his way back after being left directionless for a month or so and would look to regain momentum when he squares off against LWO member Joanquin Wilde.

Next up, the leader of the Meta-Four Noam Dar would be in for a hard battle as he would go one-on-one against the physically tormenting Dijak, who would not be in a good mood following his failure to capture the NXT North American championship at NXT Stand and Deliver.

Switching gears to the women’s division, NXT’s feisty Latina Lola Vice has been looking to make her mark, but her momentum was derailed after she lost an open challenge match to WWE veteran Natalya. Lola took out her frustrations on tonight’s edition of the show by costing Nattie a chance to win the NXT Women’s title and even got into an altercation with Sol Ruca backstage with both NXT stars now on a collision course for next week’s show.

Finally, the heated rivalry between Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams will see one of the most hard-hitting battles fought between the former best friends as they collide against each other in an NXT Stand and Deliver rematch, but this time, in a deadly steel cage match.
