Kevin Owens is one of the top Superstars in WWE right now and is willing to work with just about anyone, but CM Punk might not be one of them.

The Prizefighter and The Straight Edge Superstar were big names in Ring of Honor, but have never squared off against each other in a match. Despite their significant status, they had a brief backstage interaction last year when Punk made an appearance on SmackDown, sparking excitement among fans.

Addressing Punk’s return to WWE at Survivor Series: WarGames 2023, Owens shared his perspective on their relationship during an interview with the Gorilla Position podcast. He conveyed that while they don’t have a close relationship and may not be compatible personality-wise, they maintain a respectful distance and interact courteously when necessary.

“Well, we have no relationship. No, we’re not each other’s type of people I don’t think. There’s a ten-foot vicinity that if we enter in, then we have to kinda ‘Hey. Hi.’ Otherwise, we just don’t, and it’s fine. It’s perfectly fine.”

When questioned about Punk’s alleged changes since his return to WWE, Owens responded coldly, expressing that he neither knows nor concerns himself with such matters. He emphasized that he remains true to himself, and Punk is likewise entitled to be himself without his scrutiny.

“I don’t know that and I don’t care, to be honest. I am who I am. He is who he is, and it’s fine that way.”

CM Punk and Kevin Owens had real-life beef as well at one point. We will have to wait and see when WWE will book The Second City Saint and The Prizefighter in a full-fledged feud, as fans would love to see it happen somewhere down the line.
