On the go-home edition of Monday Night RAW before WrestleMania 40, The Rock and Roman Reigns delivered a captivating message, intensifying their rivalry with Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins as anticipation for The Show of Shows builds. In fact, Seth Rollins admitted that he is carrying multiple injuries after RAW this week.

On WWE RAW this week, Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes faced beatdown from The Rock and Roman Reigns in the main event, deviating from the expected plan and this certainly shocked fans in a big way.

Seth Rollins admitted on The Favorites podcast ahead of WrestleMania 40 that he didn’t anticipate Roman Reigns being present, as he was accustomed to the Tribal Chief’s absence.

The Visionary said that the fact that Reigns was there meant things didn’t quite work out according to plan and conceded the win to Roman Reigns.

“I feel like I got hit by a car. Look, I’ll be honest with you, the plan didn’t come together as I thought it might. I didn’t count on Roman Reigns. Truly believed he was not going to be around there at the end of the night, as is his customary overture. He does his business and leaves. I figured that’s what we would be getting on Monday, and I thought we’d be able to wrap The Rock in the middle of the ring and get a little piece of him. We got a little piece of him, but Roman Reigns was a step ahead. I’ll give credit where it’s due.

Seth Rollins discussed the injuries he sustained during RAW and revealed his scars from the battle on Monday. Despite this, he will continue to battle at WrestleMania 40.

“You can see it on my face. I got kicked right in the mouth, right in the cheek by Jimmy Uso. I got welts all over my body underneath this vest here, I’ve got it all.”

We will have to wait and see whether Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes will be able to conquer The Rock and Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40 this week as fans really want them to be victorious in the end.
