The stakes were high in the explosive tag team bout between AEW’s EVPs, The Young Bucks and Best Friends as they collided in the semi-final match of the ongoing AEW World Tag Team Championships tournament on tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite.

Matthew and Nicholas Jackson rewrote a huge wrong of their career by putting down Private Party to qualify for the spot last week, while the team of Orange Cassidy and Trent Beretta knocked off ROH World Tag Team Champions The Undisputed Kingdom (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett) to claim their place.

Both teams went up against in a classic tag team showdown that went all over ringside and had the fans glued to their seats in the DCU Center in Worcester, MA with a huge opportunity hanging in the balance to win tag team gold.

On the other hand, the end of the match saw Trent Beretta shockingly kicking down his partner, Orange Cassidy with a drop kick signaling the end of their alliance.
