Becky Lynch Discloses Why She Detested Working With Seth Rollins In WWE

Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins are undeniably monumental figures in WWE history, boasting multiple world title reigns and a history of collaboration. However, Lynch recently disclosed her sentiments about working with Rollins, revealing why she found it challenging.

The Man and The Visionary form one of the most popular pro wrestling couples. They started dating in early 2019, confirming their relationship months later amid speculation in the WWE Universe. The multi-time champions got engaged in mid-2019 and tied the knot on June 29, 2021, approximately seven months after welcoming their first child.

Back in 2019, Lynch and Rollins worked together to feud with Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans, culminating in a mixed tag team match at Extreme Rules. While speaking to ET, Becky Lynch talked about working with her husband Seth Rollins in WWE.

While The Man acknowledged that she loved their match at Extreme Rules 2019, she absolutely detested the storyline they were engaged in, as it was nothing more than the fact that they were in a real-life relationship together.

“That storyline was awful, terrible, one of the worst in history. Why, I’ll tell you why. Because when I came into it, I thought this will be cool, two bada** champions fighting side by side, as a fan I want to see that. But as storylines went, they were like, ‘Becky and Seth are in a real-life relationship, everybody, in case you didn’t know, Becky and Seth are in a relationship. And so, with the storyline, that Becky and Seth are in, which is, they are in a real-life relationship…’ It was just ad nauseam. They beat it into people’s throats that we were in a relationship (makes vomiting noises).” 

Big Time Becks also believes she and Seth Rollins would have thrived as heel pair instead. Nevertheless, both Lynch and Rollins have their own big matches at WrestleMania 40, so they are more focused on that right now.
