Following their alignment as top babyfaces and champions after WrestleMania 35, Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins found themselves engaged in on-screen feuds with Baron Corbin & Lacey Evans. Despite their off-screen relationship, the chemistry between them in their on-screen partnership seemed somewhat lacking.

In conversation with Brian Truitt of USA Today, Becky Lynch shared her thoughts on Seth’s ongoing feud with The Rock and speculated on the dynamics of potentially working with him again on-screen.

“No, probably not,” replied Becky when asked if she would involve herself in Seth’s feud with The Rock. “The tricky part is that me and The Rock are friends. Whenever (Seth) has feuds, I often echo his sentiment to add to them. In a marriage, obviously, you have to be a team, you have to be on the same side of things. And I always am, he’s always No. 1 to me. But it becomes complicated when it’s against people that you have your own friendships and bonds with. However, in terms of just our characters, I think our heel characters probably would’ve meshed a bit better than our babyface ones.”

Rollins is set to team up with Cody Rhodes to take on The Rock & Roman Reigns on night one of WrestleMania 40. Meanwhile, Lynch will be challenging Rhea Ripley for the WWE Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania 40.
