WWE NXT’s next Premium Live Event is Stand & Deliver, which will be taking place at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on April 6th. In preparation for the show, it appears the main event has now been confirmed.

Earlier this month, Trick Williams issued a bold challenge to his former friend Carmelo Hayes, proposing a showdown at NXT Stand & Deliver and Hayes wasted no time in accepting the bout.

While speaking to Sports Illustrated, Shawn Michaels, Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative at NXT, has confirmed that the next phase of the intense feud between Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes will unfold in the main event of Stand & Deliver.

Michaels emphasized the significance of their storyline, stating that it has been a central element of NXT in recent months and warrants its place as the main event of Stand & Deliver.

“The Trick Williams-Carmelo Hayes story has been a driving force of NXT over the past several months,” said Michaels. “It deserves to be the main event of what is sure to be a memorable NXT Stand and Deliver.”

We will have to wait and see whether Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams will truly steal the show in the main event of Stand & Deliver next month, as fans truly feel they deserve such a spotlight to showcase their talents.
