NXT’s next Premium Live Event is Stand & Deliver, which will be taking place at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on April 6th. In preparation for the show, it appears one match has been confirmed for the show.

During NXT this week, Trick Williams issued a bold challenge to his former friend Carmelo Hayes, proposing a showdown at NXT Stand & Deliver. During the show, Williams took to the ring for the main event segment, addressing Hayes’ betrayal at NXT Vengeance Day and subsequent assault after Williams’ match with Ilja Dragunov.

In his speech, Williams acknowledged Hayes’ assertion that they are not equals, affirming that Hayes will never reach his level. He then formally challenged Hayes to a match at Stand & Deliver, vowing to settle the score and provide a little extra payback for all the trouble.

Carmelo Hayes had not responded to his challenge. However, according to Sports Illustrated, it has been confirmed that the match will be taking place at Stand & Deliver next month. WWE also took to Twitter and officially announced the match for good measure.
