WWE Hall of Famer ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin shocked fans with his return to in-ring action at WrestleMania 38 for a match against Kevin Owens, breaking his retirement. However, he hasn’t competed since. Nevertheless, fans are hopeful for his appearance at WrestleMania 40, and it appears WWE has plans for Austin as well.

With WrestleMania 40 on the horizon, excitement has reached a fever pitch with the return of The Rock. Making his first WrestleMania appearance in 11 years, The Rock is slated to team up with Roman Reigns to take on Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins on Night One of the event.

The Rock’s highly-anticipated comeback, combined with the significance of WrestleMania’s 40th edition, has sparked speculation about the possible participation of one of his most legendary rivals.

PWInsider reports that WWE is currently in talks to involve Stone Cold Steve Austin in some capacity during WrestleMania 40 weekend. While the specifics of Austin’s involvement remain undisclosed, discussions are underway, leaving fans eagerly anticipating his potential role at the event.

Steve Austin being featured on a production truck during this week’s episode Monday Night RAW was not random occurrence either.
