Becky Lynch’s journey in professional wrestling has been undeniably remarkable, marked by numerous triumphs and challenges along the way. She has worked with numerous top stars throughout her career, and this includes Finn Balor. In fact, Lynch recently reflected on having a tearful farewell with Finn Balor.

In her autobiography, “Becky Lynch: The Man: Not Your Average Average Girl,” Becky Lynch revealed a poignant story about her relationship with fellow WWE Superstar Finn Balor. Balor played a significant role in training Lynch during her early days in Ireland. The two developed a close bond, making it difficult for Lynch when they eventually parted ways.

As Balor pursued his career in Japan, Lynch embarked on her own journey to the US. Reflecting on their separation, Lynch expressed feelings of sadness and realization that their relationship couldn’t withstand the distance and changes in their lives. She recounted feeling both demanding and clingy, acknowledging that Balor was about to fulfill his dreams while she wasn’t part of it.

“When he left, I knew it was over between us. The distance was too great and over the last few months I had simultaneously become demanding, clingy and scared of losing him… He was about to live out his dream, and I wasn’t part of it.”

Thankfully, Finn Balor and Becky Lynch would reunite as they have been working in the same company for a decade now and Big Time Becks couldn’t be happier about that fact.

Nevertheless, Becky Lynch will have to put all of her teaching from Finn Balor to good use as she is set to square off against Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania 40. It remains to be seen how she will fare in the highly anticipated bout.
