WWE Hall of Famer Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts has been part of the AEW since 2020, but he has not been seen on AEW television for a very long time now, which made fans wonder if he would even stick around with the company. Roberts has now confirmed that he has signed with AEW again.

Jake Roberts has not been seen on AEW television for a long time due to Lance Archer not competing in AEW. Even then, Jake Roberts has been keeping himself quite active behind the scenes in the company.

During an upcoming episode of “The Snake Pit,” Jake Roberts confirmed that he has signed a new deal with Tony Khan and AEW.

“Well folks, just to let you know, you’re gonna be looking at me on AEW for another year. That’s right, they re-signed me so that’s great news. Looking forward to doing it.”

Roberts, known for his creative contributions both on screen and behind the scenes in pro wrestling, unveiled his ambitious plan to pitch a significant idea to Tony Khan for the upcoming year.

“Crossing my fingers that – wouldn’t it be something if we started the ‘Snake Pit’ back up? Listen, I’d love to talk to Tony about that. I’m damn sure gonna pitch it.”

Tony Khan has been taking help from other talent in the creative department for AEW, as both Bryan Danielson and Dax Harwood have been helping out creatively. It remains to be seen whether Jake Roberts will be included in the creative department at AEW now that he has re-signed with AEW.
