WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus engaged in an unexpected and prolonged program against Becky Lynch earlier last year and has been absent since. Even then, she is well aware of how WWE has changed thanks to its merger with the UFC, and she believes WWE still retains its core values.

During the transition period, Trish Stratus found herself prominently featured on WWE television, particularly in her rivalry with Becky Lynch. In a recent interview with Brioux TV, Trish shared her insights on the merger and the subtle changes she’s observed.

While speaking to Brioux TV in a recent interview, Trish Stratus noted that while there have been some minor differences, the overall structure and operation of WWE remain largely intact. The writers, producers, agents, and talent continue to fulfill their roles as before. She emphasized that the goal of the merger seemed to be a seamless transition, maintaining the successful formula that WWE had established.

There are little things that are different, but for the most part, the machine is the machine. There are the writers and the things that are still running, all the things are still in place. The writing team is in place, the producers, the agents, and the talent. Everyone is still doing their job. I think what they wanted was a bit of a seamless transition anyway. I think that was the idea. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

In Trish’s view, the partnership with TKO has brought certain benefits, such as increased exposure and fan experiences. Notably, WrestleMania this year achieved record-breaking numbers, indicative of the positive impact of the collaboration. Overall, Trish described the partnership as fruitful, highlighting the strengths that TKO brings to the table while maintaining WWE’s established success.

It’s one of those things where it’s running, the WWE is what it is and it has its success. We have enjoyed some of the stuff that comes with being partners with TKO. Bigger exposure. WrestleMania this year is record numbers. A lot of fan experiences, they are creating things like that, which is something they bring to the table. It’s been a good partnership so far.”

Trish Stratus also hinted at returning to WWE television this year, something that Becky Lynch also believes will happen. We’ll have to see whether WWE will undergo more changes in the coming weeks.
